We really enjoyed our cruise on the Dolly Steamboat. The crew and captain were fantastic! The overall tone of the cruise is relaxed and layed back. The scenery was amazing and the experience was very enjoyable |

My husband and I enjoyed the cruise. It was exciting to see the flowers in bloom and the vivid blue sky. What a delightful time we had on the lake. We will do it again at a different time of year

The Dolly ride through the canyon took us to breathtaking views we can't see on a drive., and Captain Tom had interesting things to say about the rock formations, the wildlife and the history of the canyon. We didn't see the mountain sheep, who probably preferred shade on an 80-degree afternoon. It wasn't the Grand Canyon but it was grand in its up-close and magnificently beautiful way. |

We were visiting Phoenix from Texas and the cruise was the avenue for us to see the natural beauty of the mountains as well as the lake. We took the scenic route from Phoenix using the least highways so we had a peaceful ride through the mountains. The crew was very funny and courteous. If you want some excellent pictures of the mountains and the lake, I would highly recommend that you take this cruise. The food at the lakeside restaurant was very good also. |

i wouldn't know how the cruise was because the directions we were given never lead us to the boat! we drove around apache junction and nearby towns/ villages for nearly a hour, searching for the road to the marina.
we asked the state park ranger for directions, only to have our head bitten off and sent in the opposite direction. we then stopped at the ghost town, the name i cannot remember correctly, and had a wonderful time there for a short time. it does not take that much to slap up a billboard on the road. either that or slap up a simple sign with arrows or something to that nature.
overall, i hope the steamboat enjoyed my donation since there are no refunds on tickets. the surrounding sites were nice. the drive up the mountain road was spectacular with beautiful views. susperstition mtns are amoung the awe inspiring mountains in arizona. if anyone takes this trip, allow yourself ample time to search for the place. locals don't help, the directions are sketchy and understated and there are plenty of things to do nearby other than this tour. |

My wife and I are wintering in Arizona from Ohio, and, our four friends are from Arizona. This was the first time for any of us to take this tour. We all enjoyed it very much. It was a treat to see the bighorn sheep. We all took many good photos. |

We have been on Dolly several times and always enjoy the trip.
This was our first trip with an infant. (4 months old). My only negative comment would be that it was impossible to keep the life jacket on the baby. The jacket was too large for an infant. In retrospect, we feel it was a bad decision on our part to take the baby on the boat and not the fault of the Dolly staff.
We hope to take the dinner cruise in the future (without the baby). |

Our family really enjoyed this tour. We had two adults age 57-62 and one son age24 for this trip. The drive to the lake was beautiful and allowed us to see the wonderful views of cactus and moutains. The boat trip was very informative of local wildlife and nature (landscape). The lake was beautiful and the tour information provided by the captain was very informative of the area.
As an aside, along the drive the the lake we found some other interesting places to stop such as the Goldfield town, where we had lunch. Also, rather than telling people that the 16 mile drive will take 30 minutes, I would warn people that it really takes more than that because you want to stop along the way to take photos. And, most importantly, those who may be prone to motion sickness my want to take a dramamine (or the like) before beginning the winding road to the lake.
Thank you! Great Times! |

Being a native Arizonan I believed I had seen all the state had to offer. I read the reviews for the Dolly Steamboat Cruise and decided to take my family and see if the reviews were just hype or if they were accurate. To my delight the reviews were hyper-accurate. The boarding process was quick and orderly, the crew friendly and informative and the scenery spectacular. My wife counted three bighorn sheep and my eight year old daughter busied herself counting birds of prey. A wonderful and relaxing experience. My only recommendation would be to lengthen the tour. |
