I used to live in East Mesa and spent a lot of time at Canyon Lake. I promised myself I would one day take the time to ride the Dolly. I didn't realize until the day of the tour that it was a "narrated" tour. The Captain did a wonderful job, and even though I had been on the lake many times, I had never paid much attention to the rock formations and some other sights that he pointed out. I also learned a good deal about the history of the lake and the area in general. The weather was great, and the tour was great. I would recommend the trip on the Dolly enthusiastically. |

We really enjoyed the cruise with our two boys. We went on a very warm day, but besides the heat, really thought the cruise was worth taking. |

The tour was on time starting, the staff was friendly and warm to the group, and the narration was well done. The accommodations on the boat was very suitable to the tour. |

It was an extremely hot afternoon. Too hot for this activity. The water was beautiful, the wildlife was mostly avoiding the heat. The crew was knowledgeable and efficient.
The cruise, at 90 minutes did not allow us to see some of the far reaches of the lake. I would have paid proportionately more for a longer cruise, but have no interest in a dinner cruise.
By purchasing tickets in advance (via internt), I did not realize I had to redeem our e-tickets for a boarding pass, by standing in the same line as those purchasing tickets on site. As a result we wound up with a high boarding pass number, which left us with a bad taste. |

We had a great time and the scenery was beautiful. I liked the music in the background. But the Titanic music is the last thing you want to think of on a ship, ha ha. The one lane bridges were a little scary getting there, but it was well worth it. |
