| Even my children, 9 and 10, thought this was an extremely beautiful afternoon. The weather was PERFECT. If it is too hot, sit inside. The captain was very informative and entertaining. I'd do it again the next time I visit Phoenix! Well worth the money. I'd really like to try the dinner cruise. |

| Our first cruise was with a group of srs. and we truly enjoyed the 1pm cruise . We ate lunch in the restaurant and then took the cruise. Then my daughter and two grandchildren came in one child is 10yrs old and an avid swimmer on a swim team in Michigan he was told he and his 12 yr old sister who also is an avid swimmer, that they were required to wear those bulky orange life jackets they did not enjoy the cruise because of it both of the childrens backs were soaking wet from the hot sun and they were truly miserable they sat quiely during the entire cruise. They both looked very unhappy since they thought it was going to be wonderful..The grandson said I would be able to save myself before all those old people could save themselves and how true and he said they do not have to wear a life jacket. Then we took the dinner cruise with our other daughter , husband and 8 yr old son. Well he was told while he was sitting he could take the life jacket off but when he was up walking around he had to wear the life jacket so two different situations and the night cruise was far cooler than the middle of the sunny day. So there you have it . This will be the story I will have to pass on.
Thanks again we as adults did enjoy the cruise. We did not have to wear the life jackets.

| We all (4 of us) absolutely loved the tour. The young man at the controls and narrating was excellent. He has the perfect voice for this tour. Seating accommodations were fine. We will take our friends on the tour whenever they visit us in Arizona. (this was our third time with guests) |

| The afternoon was a great change of pace from the shopping and sightseeing done in the general Phoenix area. Nice mix for grandparents, parents and kids to enjoy. The address listed for Dolly should not be used for programming GPS. NOT THE SAME LOCATION to meet the boat.!!!!! We were not the first to end up at the wrong place using the business address. Ask for an address when booking, maybe that will help.

| Wife, self, daughter and son-in-law very much enjoyed the cruise. Crew friendly and seating comfortable. Captain could (should?) have been a bit more knowledgeable about geology. Aquaintance with deep lake hydrology may increase his knowledge
base.
We all would have like to see wildlife, but noon sailing and hot weather pretty much precluded sightings. Perhaps add a morning cruise at 9:30 or 10:00?
Over all, we enjoyed the cruise and would rate it 95% +. |

| Compared with many other scenic trips of this type, we found the narration lacking in depth and enthusiasm. More history of the dam, it's construction, impact on the valley and the environment could have been included. Also lacking was comprehsive local history--settlements, natives, superstitions, tall tales.
Scenery is incredible but isn't spectacular enough to overcome the disappointing commentary. We have enjoyed similar tours in the southern US, Alaska, Egypt, NZ and Australia--this one let us down.

Dolly Steamboat Cruise at Canyon Lake

| My brother and a friend came into town visiting from CT. They wanted to see some of the tourist attactions of AZ. They also wanted to see the desert in bloom. I have been on your cruise numerous times and always enjoy it as much as the first time. My brother had been on the cruise a few years ago, but wanted his friend to experience the boat ride through the canyon. His friend had never been to AZ before and truly thought it was breathtaking! My brother enjoyed the trip as well. Our only complaint is the smoking on the boat. I do home with the new law that this will no longer take place. I always recommend the trip to Canyon Lake and the boat ride to out of town guest. I am sure that myself, family and friends will ride the Dolly again! |

| The weather was great and we were very informed about the canyon.
The one thing that I did NOT like was the Smoking-- would have liked to go back and see the wheel but people always standing there smoking...
This was my 4th time I have went on this.Always taking friends and relatives to see the canyon.
You should give a free pass to people who always bring you new customers.
I enjoy the music that you play while we were on the cruise. |
