| We enjoyed lunch as a group (families with preschoolers from our church) at Tortilla Flats, then completed the day with a 2 p.m. Dolly Steamboat trip. The children (2 - 8 year olds) had a great time spotting Big Horn Sheep and deer and just being on the water. The adults all enjoyed the scenery and pleasant boat ride, commenting it would be a different trip without children. I would recommend it either way, with or without preschoolers. | ||||||

| We have lived in Mesa for 19 years and had never taken this boat trip. Friends were visiting from Colorado and we were looking for a way to "show" them Arizona. Even though they live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains they were awed by the beauty of the canyon and enjoyed the relaxing ride. We all had such a good experience. We will be doing this again for sure. | ||||||

| The trip was really lovely. It was still a little cool, so the lake was not overrun with speed boats and ski-doos. I'm sure it will be when the temperature is warmer. Canyon Lake has beautiful rock formations and wildlife to be seen on this tour. The meal was very good and the apple pie and coffee for dessert was a nice touch. The trip was very nicely planned with excellent staff on the boat. | ||||||

| I recommend wearing jeans or shorts and doing this soon 'cuz Captain TOM says the lake will be lower 50 feet come Labor Day. | ||||||

| Nice cruise. Support staff was friendly. This evening cruise sported a filling dinner that was fine, served "controlled buffet" style. Beautiful scenery and many pics were taken. We were expecting more history and background from the Captain or crew ; the Captain's comments, however, were appreciated. Got the feeling the crew was a bit worn out from working so many lake cruises. Recommend butter replace margarine on the condiments bar. After all patrons are served and seated, recommend that staff circulate with water/tea/coffee rather than requiring people to leave their tables, travel to the beverage containers, and walk back and sit down. | ||||||

| The dinner cruise was a wonderful experience. The ride was nice and Captain Tom gave a good overview of the sites. The only negative was the wind was very cold but I guess you had no control over that! :-) I would love to do the lunch cruise in hopes to see more wildlife. Because of the cold wind I thought the dinner cruise could have been only 2 hours. | ||||||

| We have made the cruise with friends a few times and always enjoyed it. This time we were entertaining two ladies from Switzerland and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The two crew members did an excellent job and the Captain was his usually entertaining and informative self. | ||||||

| I flew out to Arizona from Pennsylvania to help my mother who is suffering from inoperable cancer. While looking for something to do in the Phoenix area that Mom would enjoy, I learned about the Dolly cruise of Canyon Lake. We had a fantastic time! Mom, Dad, and I all enjoyed Tom's friendly narriation as we toured the lake. Tom obviously enjoys what he does . . . and it comes through in the way he discribes the lake and the surrounding areas. The music was relaxing, too. It turned out to be a perfect outing for Mom!! Tom, we all thank you! | ||||||

| From the time we stepped on the Dolly till the moment we departed, we thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight Dinner Cruise for its' ambience, the accommodations, the staff, the food - and above all the spectacular views. Capt. Tom and Janet did a great job. In fact, it was a great adventure, but... When making your reservations online, you are asked to fill in a comment field that reads, "USE THIS SPACE ONLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEND A MESSAGE TO THE SELLER. THIS MESSAGE WILL APPEAR ALONG WITH YOUR BOOKING INFORMATION". My message was "This is a special occasion. We are both celebrating our birthdays (May 1 and May 4) Clearly, the message was either not received, or not found important enough to cause any interest, because the event was not mentioned or recognized in any way. We were two of three individuals celebrating birthdays that evening. The other gentleman was recognized more than once by Captain Tom who in fact, sang "Happy Birthday" to him over the loudspeaker. I wasn't expecting dancing girls and a cash prize, but I did expect to be recognized. Granted, this may be considered by some to be small potatoes compared to the rest of the evening, but when someone asks for comments, it gives the impression that someone will actually read them. Perhaps THIS "comment" will be read by the "Seller" and they will be more considerate in the future. By the way...we were two of only 19 people on the cruise that evening. | The cruise was everything we expected and more. The scenery was beautiful. The captain was funny and informative. We even got to see some big horn sheep on top of one of the bluffs. | ||||||
