| The lake, scenery, captain, food and servers were all great. My only complaint is that the last hour of the cruise is after dark and you can't see anything. I can see stars here at home. The cruise needs to start at least an hour earlier in order to see more scenery. We can eat after dark. A few fans would also help. It was uncomfortably hot. A top open deck would have been nice. It was a little pricey but affordable. Ray & Carol | ||||||

| I and my elderly parents took the noon hour cruise in early September. We found it to be a very soothing ride. We enjoyed the scenery and the captain did not talk too much. Even though it was a hot day there was a slight cooling breeze on the water. Sitting on the top deck inside gave a great view of the canyon and protection from the sun. Walking down the many steps to the boat was difficult for my dad but he was the one who did not want help. He did start down ahead of the group. I knew beforehand that there was a wheelchair available if necessary. I wish the cruise were either at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Our only criticism is that we were starving by the time we got back on shore and could have our leisurely lunch at the resaurant. | ||||||

| this was our third cruise on the dolly, each cruise has provided me with the opportunity to photograph local wild life, on this cruise i was able to photograph a bald eagle lifting off from it's resting place | ||||||

| My wife and I spent our 23rd anniversary here. It was absolutely awesome. Coming from a very non-romantic red neck. I have to say, I got the "A" OK from my wife on this surprise. Only took me 23 years to get it right. The whole entire cruise from start to finish was absolutely perfect. My wife and I did not want it to end. The staff, seating, food and boat made for a picture perfect evening. We definately recommend this cruise to any and all. You will not regret one thing. We "WILL" be coming back soon, with friends and family. Thanks for making our Anniversay perfect. | ||||||

| Awesome. This was an event I planned to spend quality time with my six year old grandson and a couple of friends from work. My grandson was so excited as he had never been on any type of boat before and really enjoyed the Dolly Steamboat. He commented on how beautiful it was on the lake and was taking pictures of the cliffs and people boating, swimming and skiing. At the end of the cruise he stated that this was the best part of his day and wants to do it again with his Mom and Dad. My friends and I had been on the cruise a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. It is so relaxing and calming. A great way to de-stress. Would highly recommend to anyone who visits the Phoenix area. | ||||||

| We had 3 generations of European Relatives with us and they all enjoyed the very nice day, good weather, nice scenry, very relaxing and we saw one Big Horn Sheep. Enjoyed lunch at Tortilla Flats prior to boarding, then a trip through Goldfield, old mining town with ice cream and then pizza at Organ Stop Pizza, Mesa, with all the wonderful music. A very nice day. | ||||||

| We often take out of town guest for the Dolly Boat ride at the Canyon. Always an excellent trip, narration is excellent and crew accommodating. Prefer to have visitors take the tour in the fall and spring, but even the extreme heat the last time we took the trip was worth the trip. | ||||||

| We had some friends from back East (New York) visiting us for an extended weekend. While looking into things to do that wouldn't be too expensive or hard to get to, my husband found your website. We are relatively new to Arizona (only here 2 yrs) so this was a new experience for us as well. We had a great time! Your crew was fun and very attentive. The narrator had a lilting, sing-song style of speaking which we found a little amusing but he did a great job and we learned quite a bit along with enjoying the trivia that he told us. We are expecting more New York visitors the end of the month and we are thinking of doing the dinner cruise this time. Even if we don't do the dinner cruise, we will definitely do one of the day time cruises again. Thanks!!! | ||||||

| My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip- from the time of booking till beyond landing back on terra firma..... The staff are all very courteous, safety-conscious, helpful and pleasant. The cruise ship it self was clean, the trip was smooth and a fabulous experience. the scenery is picturesque and the food was tasty...I cannot fault this trip... well worth the drive out to the lake....you will not be disappointed. | ||||||

| Staff was very helpful. Loved the woman staffing the snack booth. She had a water mister and was a life saver! Loved how the Dolly was redone, loved the restroom and free ice water! And air next year yea you will definitly see us again and again and again. No charge for my 2 year old grandson was a great bonus! Keep up the good work. | ||||||

| to whom this may concern...the canyon lake boat trip my husband and i took on the 22 nd of august 2009 at 12 noon was very nice and picturesque...the weather was great and the sites were beautiful...but i do have one complaint as my husband and i were boarding the dolly boat...the boats driver was a little bit to forward with me as all we asked him was where was the nicest place to sit being it was our first ride...his answer?...was " well honey for you at my house with a margheretta sitting by my pool and dont bring him"...he was referring to my husband of course and we were both taken back by his rude and very forward comment...i felt embarrased for myself but truly more for my husband whom after we took a seat wanted to address the guy but i told him lets please enjoy the day...i too felt very uncomfortable as the boat took off for the ride...on any other day i may have told this guy off and on any other day my husband would have done the same or more!...im sure he thought he was being funny, but in no way was he funny or cute at all...it was more rude and ecotistical and disrespectful and although the afternoon boat ride was very nice the driver was a jerk and we would not take the cruise again unless someone else was driving...i hope this guy thinks before he throws those kind of sexist comments around because the next couple he does it to, he may not be as lucky not get into it with someone or possibly a good verbal lashing!...we were not there to hear that kind of thing...we were there to enjoy the day and the boat ride. i asked him a very simple question and that was his answer....hope someone can get this message across to him...thank you so very much for listening...gayle and john...mesa az . | ||||||
