| Wife, self, daughter and son-in-law very much enjoyed the cruise. Crew friendly and seating comfortable. Captain could (should?) have been a bit more knowledgeable about geology. Aquaintance with deep lake hydrology may increase his knowledge base. We all would have like to see wildlife, but noon sailing and hot weather pretty much precluded sightings. Perhaps add a morning cruise at 9:30 or 10:00? Over all, we enjoyed the cruise and would rate it 95% +. | ||||||

| This is the second time we have taken the DOLLY on Canyon Lake. The last time was 6 years ago. WE enjoyed it very much. The topography of the canyon is amazing considering you are in Arizona and the desert. The narration was just enough information without being boring. A great trip...... | ||||||

| Friendly staff, started on time, very nice pace to enjoy the fantastic scenery. We saw bald eagle, bighorn sheep, hawks and wonderful Sonoran desert canyon landscape. | ||||||

| The views were outstanding and the narrator was knowledgeable and at times comedic and also corny which made for a good time. My only suggestion might be that somehow more binocs could be provided so more people could see the wildlife that the captain pointed out to us. Great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| The boat was neat and clean, the crew friendly. The Captain was knowledgeable and had an excellent presentation. Canyon lake is beautiful and the only way to really see it is by boat. We had a great time, and are considering a night cruise. This is an awesome trip!!!! Well worth the money!! | ||||||

| Initially shopping for a "weekend getaway" to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thought of going up to Lake Powell, but that is now closed for the season. Sought assist from our AAA Office. Surprisingly, they had nothing to offer or suggest?? Searched (Online) next and discovered Website for the Twilight Dinner Cruise at Canyon Lake. Extremely pleased with our choice to celebrate our anniversary this way for the evening. Even though we did not find "a weekend getaway." Certainly it gets darker early at this time of year. Enjoying the sights is limited, even though the Captain narrates. Then again, it's a (Twilight dinner Cruise) not their Nature or Rainbow Cruise during the day. The Captain, crew & staff made us feel as great guests. Tableclothes & napkins with candle at the table. A special, well-planned & prepared dinner. Other services too. I told staff to have a Representative make contact with AAA out here..... I do not understand why they have nothing to pull up or recommend such as this in their data base. Unless the AAA agent was lazy and didn't help us with a search? Dolly Steamboat also offers a AAA Member ticket discount, which was $3.00 each. I called their office to get the code to enter for the Online purchase. This trip for us from Surprise, was two hours. Guess, I've said plenty. Thanks again. | ||||||

| During my family's visit the first week of November, we traveled around most of northern Arizona. Since they live near water back east, I thought the Dolly Steamboat would be the perfect end to their trip to our beautiful state. And, it was. They thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and beauty of Canyon Lake. We took the dinner cruise and the food, service and narration of the scenery around us were awesome. I highly recommend this cruise. | ||||||

| I enjoyed it. I talked to a lady who had gone on the star-gazing one and she highly recommended it. I would say don't sit in the sunny top chairs -- it got too hot!! (it was 91 degrees that day on Nov. 5, 2009). The rock formations and history of the area were interesting. We also enjoyed having an early lunch at the Lakeside Cantina. | ||||||

| THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE BEEN ON THE DOLLY, THE FIRST TIME IT WAS WAY TO HOT, BUT I HAD FAMILY HERE SO WE WENT. I JUST TOOK FRIENDS FROM MICHIGAN THAT WAS VISITING AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO IN THE SUMMER, DON'T CARE WHO IS HERE! THIS LAST TRIP WAS THE BEST. IT'S TOO BAD THEY CAN'T SOMEHOW INSTALL A MISTING SYSTEM ON IT FOR THE HOT TRIPS. ANYWAY I LOVE SHOWING THIS WONDERFUL STATE OF OURS TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I WILL BE GOING AGAIN WHEN MY FAMILY IS HERE IN FEBRUARY. | ||||||

| The lake was wonderful to just sit back and enjoy. Even after coming up to Canyon Lake with our own boat for the past 39 years, I learned some new facts about the lake and saw some new formations I had never noticed before. Our group is considering doing an evening dinner cruise in the future. | ||||||
