| The captain did a great narration of information. He made the beautiful view even more alive. Wildflowers were abundant and the ride on the water was so relaxing. | ||||||

| My 90 year old father and I took the 2:PM cruise. The Dolly was in top condition as they had just refurbished her. Jeff the Skipper was very entertaining with his wit and knowledge of the area. Cindi and Janet the crew members were great also. It was our 2nd time in 6 years on the cruise. Mike Coulter | ||||||

| The lake cruise was very restful which was exactly what I and my lady friend wanted. We would have liked to have the cruise enhanced with a more informative narrative -- one which gave us more detailed information on the lake's formation and explained how the present owners established their cruise company. | ||||||

| We not only lucked out with a perfect weather, (sunny, temperature just right, spring green and wildflowers blooming) the scenery is really beautiful and changes around every bend. The attendants on the boat kept a lookout for wildlife and were able to point out a great blue heron, some turkey vultures, two bald eagles, and some big horned sheep. There was comfortable seating as well as plenty of opportunity to move about the boat to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. | ||||||

| The Dolly Steamboat provides a relaxing yet informative tour of the terrain surrounding Canyon Lake, a man-made lake east of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in the Superstition Mountains. The tourguide was informative to local flora and fauna, pointing out nearby predator birds and bighorn sheep off in the distance. The 90-minute tour was neither too short nor too long. The price of the tour is reasonable and discounts are offered for AAA members. | ||||||

| The cruise was great. The scenrey is hard to beat.. But unless I had a large party or wanted to go on a busy day such as a weekend, I would not book on line. There is no discount for AAA as there is at the ticket window. Also there is a booking fee The cost of 2 adult tickets at the window is $34. On line it was $44. | ||||||

| I took my husband on this cruise for his 70th birthday. We both enjoyed it and the best part was the electrical storm towards the end of the cruise. Better than the 4th of July. | ||||||

| My husband & I along with my sister & brother in law took the Astronomy Cruise. The food was very good, the staff was friendly and accomodating. It was a cloudy nite so we were limited on star gazing, however, the skies opened a little towards the end of the cruise and Dr Sky was very informative. We all really enjoyed our evening and would definitely do this again. | ||||||

| Although the weather did not cooperate fully for the astronomical portion until the very end, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Captain Jeff and his crew were all very personable. Dr. Sky was as informative as he could have been (under the cloud cover for most of the cruise). I was abit disconcerted that the intro portion had not been updated though and referred to past events in August (we attended in September). The food was OK, although I really think that Dolly Steamboat should entertain the practice of table service. I did not know the food was served buffet style and by the time we were allowed to go and get our food, it was overcooked and lukewarm, although still very tasty. Walking through the boat where other passengers already were eating bothered me. The grandeur of the Arizona sunset and the scenery in Canyon Lake was absolutely beautiful and made up for all the other little shortfalls. | ||||||

| Beautifull scenery. Saw a few mountain goats. It was very hot out and the boat moved too slow. Was expecting more information on the Superstition mountains. Maybe some history on the apache trail also. the Captain had a good sense of humor.the price was reasonable.Would recomend if you like to go of the beaten path. | ||||||

| It was a fun trip. We were looking for something different to do. The astronomy cruise was informative and fun. I'd do this again, but will wait till later in the season when it cools down some. | ||||||

| The entire evening was very good and Dr Sky was real good in explaining what we were looking at. I will be back to do this trip again. I do have a suggestion. I would like to see a early morning Breakfast Sunrise trip if all possible maybe once or twice a month with Dr Sky on this trip to. | ||||||
