Laid Back and Relaxing

| I recommend this to anyone interested in a nice relaxing afternoon with a beautiful backdrop of the canyon. It was a little warm starting out (late June), but soon after the journey started, we were surrounded by the canyon walls and the ever welcome shade! Being able to walk around the boat was a bonus, and make sure to bring a camera, as there are lots of opportunities for photos. Also, this would be a great trip for groups of four or six (or maybe more...), as there is plenty of space to move around. I recommend sitting in the upper deck and towards the front, but again, there are a number of great places to sit. I will consider taking this trip again in the future. | ||||||

| This was a birthday trip and it was completely wonderful. The food is very good and the people who work on the boat are just fantastic. The scenery is without parallel and we had the added bonus of several wildlife sightings. I recommend this to anyone who loves this area. | ||||||

| I myself have have taken this sight seeing cruise about 6 times-everytime someone visits from out of state and it never gets old! The boat is clean and comfortable. The captain will even take pictures with you. The scenery is breathtaking-looks like a "mini grand canyon". Also the captain points out interesting rock formations and wildlife!Bring your camera!!! | ||||||

| My sister was visiting from Atlanta, Georgia and we wanted her to see Canyon Lake and take the boat tour. Because we were doing this in late June, we would have prefered a sunset tour, but we did not want to pay $65 for the dinner cruise. I wish that a sunset tour had been available without the expense of the dinner. We did enjoy the tour very much even though we were hot. I thought the boat might have ceiling fans to help keep us cool. There was a breeze part of the time, but it was intermittent. I do recommend the tour, but you need to be prepared for the heat during the summer at noon. | ||||||

Very disappointing - Waste of hard earned money

| We had our tickets reserved for 3 months prior to our trip. We bypassed the long waiting line to purchase tickets and were still last to board the boat as they were numbered seats. I know that at least 90% of the passengers that day did not have reserved tickets. Once we finally arrived on the boat the only table left was directly in the sun. We had a 3 year old traveling and were unable to keep her in the sun (108 to 112 degrees that day.) We settled ourselves in a shaded area at the back of the boat and were asked to move as all guests were to be seated. We did leave and headed upstairs. My finace went downstairs to purchase water several minutes later and when he did he noticed that the hostess had conveniently moved an entire group to the area we had just been kicked out of, and to make things even better for them provided that party with a table after we had been asked to leave and told we had no choice but to sit upstairs and endure the hot sun. We asked to be left off the boat, but were advised it had just departed and were unable to abort. We will never purchase tickets from Zerve or board the Dolly Madison again. A complete waste of our money. | ||||||

| Really enjoyed the trip but man was it hot.. Fabulous scenery, good commentary and a nice boat. The journey to Canyon Lake was a bit scary for my wife but it was ok really. All in all well worth the money. PS the restaurant / bar next to the pier is very good as well. | ||||||

| My wife and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary with dinner on the Arizona Dolly. It was wonderful, the whole crew was very professional, the food was excellent and I wish I could find the words to describe the beautiful views found around Canyon Lake but it has let me speechless. | ||||||

| This was the 3rd time my wife & I took this trip & have seen different wildlife every time. Each time we have seen big horn sheep, once saw an eagle & the other time a mountain lion. My mother & father-in-law are visiting from China & they enjoyed it also. I always forget to bring binoculars; it would be good to always recommend them. We will probably do it again at some time in the future. | ||||||

| We took family from Pennsylvania on the Dolly Steamboat to show them AZ sights. They loved it! It was exciting, yet relaxing. What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. The Captain was very informative and funny. There was a gorgeous breeze even on a hot summer day. We saw longhorn sheep climbing the mountains. It was one of the high points in our trip. A definite for locals and tourists alike. You won't be disappointed! Tortilla Flat is right nearby for a delicious lunch. But there is also a restaurant at this location that looked interesting with a gorgeous view. We will be back! | ||||||
