| We enjoyed very much the beautiful scenic trip aboard the The Dolly Steamboat.The music , the narration was great, We very much enjoyed also meeting Heather.she is a great addition to your crew , she was so kind and helpful, she helped to point out the various formations in the rocks for us to see , and shared her very informative Knowledge about the great state of Arizona, it was like having a travel guide who really enjoyed their job. I would very much recommend this cruise for anyone wishing to see more of canyon lake. We hope to take the dinner cruise next.Thank-you crew for a fun cruise aboard The Dolly Steamboat!! | The weather was absolutely perfect for the cruise and seeing those 12 sheep was certainly the apex of the trip. We enjoyed the light hearted commentary from the Captain and the crew were as nice as they could be. Thank you so much. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful trip. Having lived in Arizona for 17 years, I'd never heard of the Dolly Steam Boat...it took a visiting couple from England to enlighten me and my sister to its existence. I have already recommended this trip to everyone at work. The restaurant at the marina left MUCH to be desired. Service was poor, waited over 45 min for our breakfast which made us have to eat in a hurry to get on boat, could not find waitress for bill....next time we will eat breakfast in the valley. | ||||||

| My 65th birthday was special so friends decided we should take a cruise. This was a wonderful evening, as the weather was perfect. Captain Jeff was so personable & knowledgeable & made each passenger feel special. As my husband has limited mobility, the customer reps on board were extremely helpful. The meal was very tasty and plentiful. There was a soft breeze as we cruised through the canyons & we even spotted 5 or 6 big horn sheep along with several deer. Seeing the sun setting through the canyon walls was a bonus. Perhaps next time we'll take the astronomy cruise, which also has the great dinner along with an educated astronomer informing passengers of the spectacular sights in the heavens. I would not hesitate this excursion for anyone. | ||||||

| Our group really enjoyed the trip. The scenery, and descriptions of rock features by the crew was excellent. There was a large school group on the boat with us, and we were pleasantly surprised at the way the staff handled them. The group was given instructions that amounted to the "socially accepted behavior" that we taught our kids when they were young. It made for a peaceful experience for all of us. We are new residents of Az, and brought visiting friends to the tour. We'll probably try a different tour soon. | ||||||

| Food exceeded expectation. Have previously been on a Dolly cruise, but never the twilight cruise. Everything looked totally different in the evening. Sights outstanding. Looking forward to taking the astronomy cruise. | ||||||

| Captain Tom did a great job and was very entertaining. This was the first ride on the Canyon Lake for my guests and they were in awe of the serenity and beauty of cruse. | ||||||

| The lake, scenery, captain, food and servers were all great. My only complaint is that the last hour of the cruise is after dark and you can't see anything. I can see stars here at home. The cruise needs to start at least an hour earlier in order to see more scenery. We can eat after dark. A few fans would also help. It was uncomfortably hot. A top open deck would have been nice. | The cruise was fabulous (wondered about the two songs from Titanic, made me nervous); food was great; service amazingly good; well organized. Captain took time to talk to every table, very impressive, and seemed a genuinely nice man. The boat staff and the catering staff very friendly and everyone smiled a lot. It was nice of the Captain to announce special birthdays and anniversaries over the loudspeaker. Enjoyed his comments about geological places of interest. On the downside, the road into the marina was a nightmare. The Dolly can't control the road, but it's twisty and lots of turns, takes a long time because of posted speed limits, and scary though it is, people pass on a double yellow line (they must know the road). All in all, I'd do it again, but I'd prefer not to drive out in the dark. | ||||||

| Canyon Lake is great. The tour is nice, but it is not a paddle boat. It is more like a double decker platform that holds about 50 people on each deck. If you are a group of 6 or more, you might want to rent a personal pontoon boat. That way you can bring food and drinks on board, stop and swim, and enjoy yourself. Our group will be back next year and we'll spend the extra money for our little boat. | ||||||
