Nature at its best!

| My wife & I took our 11 year old son on the 90 minute Dolly Steamboat Cruise over spring break. The tour was awe inspiring. Even our 11 year old cannot wait to go back. Majestic rock formations tower hundreds of feet above the calm surface of the lake. An occasional Jet Ski or boat will pass by slipping from view as they round the the next rocky outcropping. Do not forget to take your camera. This is nature at its best. There were Big Horn Sheep on the cliffs, hawks soaring above, bat caves and petrified trees in the rock walls. Every direction you look provides another example of the natural beauty that can only be experienced from this cruise. This is a cruise where you can absolutely relax and forget about the stressors of everyday life. We highly recommend the Dolly Steamboat cruise. | ||||||

Very disappointing - Waste of hard earned money

| We had our tickets reserved for 3 months prior to our trip. We bypassed the long waiting line to purchase tickets and were still last to board the boat as they were numbered seats. I know that at least 90% of the passengers that day did not have reserved tickets. Once we finally arrived on the boat the only table left was directly in the sun. We had a 3 year old traveling and were unable to keep her in the sun (108 to 112 degrees that day.) We settled ourselves in a shaded area at the back of the boat and were asked to move as all guests were to be seated. We did leave and headed upstairs. My finace went downstairs to purchase water several minutes later and when he did he noticed that the hostess had conveniently moved an entire group to the area we had just been kicked out of, and to make things even better for them provided that party with a table after we had been asked to leave and told we had no choice but to sit upstairs and endure the hot sun. We asked to be left off the boat, but were advised it had just departed and were unable to abort. We will never purchase tickets from Zerve or board the Dolly Madison again. A complete waste of our money. | ||||||

| This was a really nice dinner cruise around Canyon Lake. The staff was especially helpful as we had reserved our tickets for inside the cabin and they quickly recommended we sit outside on the bow of the boat. The weather was perfect for this. Food was good (very filling) and restrooms were clean. An enjoyable Arizona evening! | ||||||

| The cruise was very relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. The guide, crew and music were great. It would be nice if the snack bar sold some healthy snacks, though. I have recommended the cruise to friends. | ||||||

Dolly Trip in the Canyon

| My family and i decided to use this venue to celebrate our parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. They have always enjoyed boat travel and thought that this would be a new and different experience for them instead of sitting in a restaurant with all of the noise and clatter. My husband and I had taken the trip one time before and had enjoyed it and hoped this would be perfect for their celebration. My sister and brother in law joined us from CA who had also never been on this trip. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Everyone was in awe of the Canyon and the beautiful scenery, we saw a Bald Eagle, a mountain sheep and hawks. The narrator of the trip was delightful with his commentary and the music before and after dinner was a nice touch. We found this to be a very peaceful and enjoyable way to spend a special occassion. Not to mention, that the food was delicious and not spared. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience an evening under the stars floating down a river for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Not to mention the wonderful attention and friendliness of the crew, they were excellent in all ways. | ||||||

| I take everyone who visits on the cruise! I have been on it at least 8 times! The ride to The Dolly is beautiful ! I always take my guests first to Torteia Flats to get a picture of them having a drink in the saddle. We than return to The Dloly. The Dolly had been referbished since the last time I was on it. It looked Great! We saw a lot of wildlife on this trip. The scenery was spectacular as always! The staff is very knowledgable and helpful! Any trip to Phoienx would not be complete without taking the Dolly! We always complete our trip by stoping at the gost town on the way back. Best burger in AZ. Sit on the patio and gaze at the Superstions! Just a reminder; The Dolly does not take credit cards ( that is why I used Zerve. ) If you have reservation you get to recieve your bording pass first so you board first and get the best seats!I ( another reason to use Zerve) I packed light healthy snacks but there was a sign saying we could not take on board, so we returned them to the car. A lot of other passangers did bring food and drink on board and nothing was said. | ||||||

| Our dinner cruise was very enjoyable. The crew did its best to make our experience pleasant and provided information without being intrusive. We saw bald heron, eagle and bighorn sheep. | ||||||
