Wonderful Narrated Nature Cruise on Canyon Lake

The drive to the lake was beautiful. At the Marina everything went smoothly and efficiently to hand out tickets. The elderly and handicapped were allowed to board the boat first. The view of mountains and wildlife was awsome. Crew was very friendly and informative. I wish it were longer. Stopped at The Mining Camp Restaurant on the way back for a great family-style meal. A beautiful day.

My friend from Indiana was so excited and it was a treat for me as well since I had not ever been on the cruise. Nice narration by the staff, safety rules explained and followed. Seating was good....weather perfect...nice day

We took the Dolly nature tour and really loved it. We saw all types of animals (big horn sheep, eagles, vultures, waterfowl and more) and great Arizona plants and rock formations. It was great and at 90 minutes a perfect length. Plenty of shaded seating and you're allowed to roam about as well. Since the water is still cool at this time of year, there wasn't much other traffic on the lake, which was nice. I wouldn't mind more specific information about the nature and geology, but most folks will absolutely enjoy the content. Definitely will go back with or without visiting relatives. :) Get your reservations as our tour was full and only two walk-ons were allowed.

We were a group of 5, in our 50's. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour with breathtaking scenery, views of the bighorn sheep, the music that periodically floated through the air, and the informative history, background of the lake/area.

Four of us were on the tour including a visitor from Seattle. All were so impressed with the scenery, conditions were excellemt , staff great, they pointed out all the things we would have missed like the big horned sheep, We three have lived here a long time and always talked about it - we may very possible be back! Do you have other cruises???
