Dinner at Canyon Lake,
Sat, Apr 11  5:30 PM CHRISTINEKAR Female 50-59 Local Group of Friends
We had a good time on that Cruise, I would recommend it to everybody young and old. The Crew was very polite and understanding . We had a group of 12 people celebrating my husbands Birthday. The captain made announcement over the speaker, but I wished that they would bring out little cake with candle on it. But, that's o'k, I do it again anytime. Christine.

The drive to the lake was beautiful. At the Marina everything went smoothly and efficiently to hand out tickets. The elderly and handicapped were allowed to board the boat first. The view of mountains and wildlife was awsome. Crew was very friendly and informative. I wish it were longer. Stopped at The Mining Camp Restaurant on the way back for a great family-style meal. A beautiful day.

Well run tour - on and off the Dolly exactly on time. Very informative narrator and happy crew. The scenery was well worth the trip. The drive up to Canyon Lake is awesome and even the little restaurant was more than we expected. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and a lovely setting to wait for our cruise. I would happily recommend to others, and will probably bring other groups back myself.

We went early enough in the season that there wasn't too much water traffic on the lake. The scenic tour was fantastic. It was an oasis in the middle of the desert. A friend of mine was in from Illinois, she wanted to do the tourist thing. It provided a great get away for me, close to home. I want to go again, but take my husband on the night cruise or go camping there in one of the private coves. Worth the drive.

Very safety consious, the Skipper and 1st Mate were very knowledgeable of all surroundings especially when the Eagle and Turkey Buzzards flew, then that wasnt all, then the Mountain sheep were spotted right away. This was a very interesting and quiet laid back trip on a very well built vessel. The music played was very relaxing. We will come again! This is exactly what we read about, the Little Grand Canyon. I tip my hat off to the people that continue to bring us the natural beauty of Arizona we didnt know existed. Thank You Steamboat Dolly family and crew. As retired Navy, this trip was a pleasure and brought back some great memories.

Our dinner cruise was very enjoyable. The crew did its best to make our experience pleasant and provided information without being intrusive. We saw bald heron, eagle and bighorn sheep.

We took friends on this trip from out of state, it was great from start to finish. We purchased our tickets on line which was very convenient. We would recommend this as a fun casual way to spend an afternoon. Thank You,

The boat is very clean, and the Captain (Jeff) is enthusiastic, interesting and knowledgeable. All guests are greeted as they board, children are given appropriate-sized life vests, and the fun begins almost immediately! It's a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Disorganized entry
Thu, Apr 2  12:00 PM jomeara Female 60-69 Combination Group of Friends
When we arrived ahead of time and needed to get something to eat, we were given a ticket with a low number on it for getting on the boat. We were also told the boat would be boarded acccording to numbers so we took out time eating. When we went back out to board, the announcement came that the first 50 people could board. We had low numbers, but it didn't matter as 46 other people pushed on to the boat. Why pass out numbers and then allow 50 people to board? When I asked about the numbers, one of the crew members just said tersely, "Just board, there's plenty of room." Reservations are definitely needed>
