| We got in the same line as those who had made phone reservations directly with the Dolly company. They each paid $20. We paid $22 on line. There was no advantage to having e-tickets. | ||||||

| The cruise was so much fun. This was my husband's and my first Valentine's Day as a married couple, so we wanted to do something special. This dinner cruise was perfect. The captain was funny, but also informative. He has a great music selection, most of it being modern country love songs to which we could sing along with. The food was excellent. The staff was super-polite. The surroundings were beautiful and really set the mood. It was overall a fantastic evening. | ||||||

| My husband & I went on the narrated cruise as a Valentine Day outing before lunch, and it was very nice. We plan to take our young children back soon, so they can also enjoy the cruise as well. | ||||||

Missed the boat

| I know that missing the boat was our fault (we underestimated the slowness of the drivers on the winding mountain roads), however we got there 12:02 and trusted that the boat, knowing how many tickets were sold, would wait at least 5-10 minutes. Obviously it did not. I also understand that they have to hurry to get back for cleanup etc. for the next cruise, but still....... | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the cruise. Seeing the herd of desert big horn sheep was probably the highlight, but the whole 90 minutes was very relaxing and enjoyable. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice, short getaway from the city limits. Sometimes we forget about the easy access we have to some of the lakes and natural beauties here in the valley. We are looking forward to taking the twilight dinner cruise or the star gazing cruise later in the summer. | ||||||

| We've lived in Scottsdale, AZ for 15 years and never had a clue that the trip on the Dolly Steamboat could be so special. Capt. Tom was both entertaining and informative. The scenery was breathtaking and we plan to return the next time we have visitors. We were pleasantly surprised. | ||||||

On Canyon Lake with Dolly

| Dolly & her crew greeted us warmly upon boarding her and we were promptly underway. Canyon Lake is a desert jewel and we were both looking forward to the promise of beauty and the possibilities of wildlife sightings. We were not disappointed. Dolly took us on a slow stroll atop the calm water back into heart of the lake. Stone formations returned our stares; dark traces of rain fed waterfalls littered the canyon walls and I could easily imagine being here during a rainstorm to witness the multiple dozens of waterfalls in full bloom. There weren't any bighorn sheep curious enough to make themselves visible to us on this day. There was, however, a magnificent bald eagle who decided to wow us with his impeccable self. Settling himself on the tallest outcropping from the clifftop he seemed to be content to watch the humans float by, all wearing those funny binoculars on their eyes! All the while the Captain kept us informed & entertained over the PA, bringing our attention to other points of interest along the way. There's nothing like a little bit of forced relaxation and the Dolly Steamboat was a gratifying way to spend 90 minutes. I recommend it to newcomers and locals alike. | ||||||

| My huband and I thought it would be fun to do this with our 5 kids ages 17-3 years old. They all loved it. You get to see really cool and neat things there. Also while spending time with you family. I would recommend it for all ages and familie. | ||||||

| Very good boat ride. My guest found it very relaxing. I would recommend this boat ride for "older" people. Not much room for children to explore because you are requested to stay seated. Get there early to make sure you get seat outside of boat. Outside seating is very limited. BEWARE of the drive into the canyon. It is very nail biting for guests who are afraid of heights or moutains. Very tight turns on side of cliffs. Overall, this was a very good trip. | ||||||

| WE WENT ON THIS TRIP AS BOB HAD A BIRTHDAY, SO THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A FUN TRIP AND IT WAS, VERY RELAXING, SAW MANY GREAT SIGHTS! THE CAPTAIN, HEATHER AND NICOLE MADE THE TRIP CONVENIENT AND WERE VERY PERSONABLE, ENJOYED THE SNACK SHOP, INSIDE AND UPPER DECK AREAS. WE WOULD RETURN AGAIN WITH GRANDCHILDREN! | ||||||

| it was our second cruise and we will go again. Suggestion: If you buy tickets on line you should be able to print a boarding pass instead of waiting in line. | ||||||
