The scenery was gorgeous! The music accompanied the trip well, and the guide's comments were helpful. We were pleased that the boat slowed down so we could watch a desert bighorn on the rocks above us. Since I have allergy/asthma problems, I was glad to see that so many areas were protected from the wind.

The scenery was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A Big Horn Sheep was seen by some of the passengers and the captain circled back around so everyone could see it! That was very nice. I was disappointed with the lack of "nature talk". Most of the audio was a mix of easy listening songs, with just a little talking thrown in. I would have liked to hear more about the animals that live in the mountains (whether we saw them or not), as well as about the geology and plant life. There was some, but not as much as I would have expected for a nature cruise. I would still recommend the trip, but more for the pretty scenery than the educational value.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. A combination of breathtaking scenery, beautiful weather, and a great tour guide made this a memorable experience. I recommend this as a "must" for locals and tourists alike.

The one thing i did not like and will probably be the reason we don't do it again i had tickets that i bought in advance but walk ons were able to go on board as special needs, so i wound up with a lousy location, this should be seating like the dinner cruise does, reserved so you get a good spot .

I took this cruise for a date that I planned for my girlfriend. We both love nature and doing activities outside so this was a perfect get away for an afternoon. The drive was very nice only about an hour and a half from downtown phoenix. Canyon Lake and its surrounding were breath-taking and the whole place was beautiful. I only had a few complaints throughout the trip. One being the lines and waiting to get your boarding pass. It didn't take very long but other people who had come that day as walk ons got to recieve their passes before others there who are made reservations, thus getting to board sooner. In the end it didn't make much of a difference because I still got the spot on the Dolly that I wanted. The cruise was a very smooth ride and road up very close to the sides of mountains so that you could see every little detail. The only other problem was not the narration but the speaker quality. From where I was seated and moving around at, which was the lower level back near the engine, you couldn't make out what he was saying or you would have to get very close to the speakers. This wasn't an issue inside whenever I went in but outside there was no point in trying to listen to it. Besides these small things this trip was wonderful and I would highly recemmend it,

Thank you so very much! It was a beautiful evening and the food, ambiance paddleboat and service and of course nature experience were just wonderful. The best way to enjoy my 25th anniversary with my wife along with a couple of friends celebrating their own anniversary! I recommend it to everyone who is within shouting distance!

We took the twilight dinner cruise as a special celebration. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcomed. The scenery, the staff, and the food was exemplary. I plan to return for the Christmas Caroling cruise in December! Don't pass up a chance to ride the steamboat. There is even inside seating for those that shy away from the cool AZ evenings.

The whole experience was perfect. The crew was great, the facility was nice, and the food was good. The music and captain's narration of the sights were very enjoyable. Canyon Lake is among the most beautiful places on Earth. I can't think of any improvements to make.

This cruise is great! The 90 minutes goes by really fast. The boat is clean, the crew is nice, the captain is funny and the views are fabulous. Great for older families, seniors and group outings. A big thumbs up!

I had cousins in from Scotland and New Jersey this November. We enjoyed everything about the tour. The narrator had a wonderful speaking voice and quite a sense of humor. The staff that was upstairs with us was completely knowledgeable about the area. Also, she shared her binoculars. And the best part of this cuise was seeing over a dozen bighorn sheep on the side of a mountain. What a thrill.
