| Really nice! We went for our 18th anniversary and it was just great in every way! There is nothing I would change, it was so nice we could hardly stop saying how much we were enjoying ourselves. Even the food was excellent. Don't miss this, its one of the best ways to spend an AZ evening I can think of after living here for 16 years. TIP: Be sure to bring a jacket for cooler months of Nov - March. There is a sheltered area but you're going to want to spend a lot of time on the two decks so be sure to dress appropriately. | ||||||

| I had cousins in from Scotland and New Jersey this November. We enjoyed everything about the tour. The narrator had a wonderful speaking voice and quite a sense of humor. The staff that was upstairs with us was completely knowledgeable about the area. Also, she shared her binoculars. And the best part of this cuise was seeing over a dozen bighorn sheep on the side of a mountain. What a thrill. | ||||||

| While the "Narrated Nature Cruise on Canyon Lake" was extremely scenic, beautiful and relaxing, it is not properly described. It should be labeled a Scenic Cruise of Canyon Lake. The narration was minimal! There was a short description of the dam, a comment that if you see any wildlife, please let the captain know, and he did point out some petrified wood. There was no other "narration". Oh, wait, he did point out several rock formations-ET, Indian Princess and last, but not least, Mozart. Mozart was accompanied with some pipe organ music which would have scared away any wildlife in the area! While we enjoyed the cruise immensely, there was no narration about the history of the area, the flora and fauna or anything else remotely "nature". | ||||||

| Taking a trip on the Dolly Steamboat at Canyon Lake is like riding through a "Mini" Grand Canyon. The beauty of the rocks, the crisp, stillness of the water, the vegetation growing from the sides of the cliffs.....and sometimes catching sight of wildlife along the way makes for a wonderful adventure as you enjoy the ride. This is a "must" stop when we have out of state company visiting us. They always are impressed with the lake's beauty and the friendliness of the people working on the Dolly Steamboat. | It was a beautiful senic tour of the canyon. - just perfect! Our 15 yr old granddaughters said it was the most fun thing we did on our vacation. Being from Ohio, it seemed strange driving up the mountain to find a big lake with lots of boaters! Also, good food while waiting for our ride! | ||||||

| I would highly recommend the dinner cruise on Canyon Lake. We just recently experienced the wonders of Canyon Lake for the first time and are already planning our return trip. The scenery is spectacular and the cruise was very relaxing. We can't wait for the next trip!! | ||||||

| I had reservations for myself and my family on April 23rd for a 2pm cruise. I was staying at the JW Marriot in Phoenix and was told by the concierge that the drive to Canyon Lake would take 45 minutes which was very obviously wrong. When we were already on the Apache trail, and realized that we would be five minutes late, I called the Zerve phone number and told them that we would be five minutes late so that they could alert the boat and they told me that there was no way for them to reach the dock . I called the other number that they had given me at the time of my reservation and the woman who answered also told me that she had no way to reach the dock. It was very upsetting that they could not reach the boat in a circumstance such as this or even in an emergency. Sure enough, as we got to the dock, the boat was just pulling away and there was no reperesentative at the dock to help and the ticket booth was closed. I waved and waved at the boat , but no one saw me. Therefore, I am very upset with the Dolly Steamboat and in fact, think that my money should be refunded and certainly at this point would not recommend it to anyone. | Well worth the price. Very much enjoyed the tour around the lake. Captain and crew kept things interesting with factual and not so factual humorous stories. Music played during cruise contained its own humor. We believe one selection is the theme from The Titanic. Suggest check in as soon as ticket office opens, boarding priority passes are given based on when you step up to the counter. Advance ticket purchase was a plus. Everything went smoothly with the Zerve ticket sale. | ||||||

| This was a fun trip for all of the ages (14 yrs to 72yrs) in our group. Yeah, we only got to see a couple of bighorns but that was better than not seeing any and that certainly was not within "Dolly's" control! The weather was beautiful, and the captain narrated the scenery and sights quite well. Only potential hitch - we arrived right on 2pm and almost didn't get on the boat! Be timely! | ||||||
