Absolutely recommend taking the Nature Cruise

| We had family in town from out-of-state with ages ranging from 5-65 and wanted to find something to do that would be fun and interesting for everyone. The Canyon Lake Narrated Nature Cruise was wonderful. The kids loved it, the adults loved and we all had a wonderful time. It was beautiful and relaxing and the crew was so pleasant and helpful. We're planning on going back for the dinner cruise sometime! | ||||||

| My 21 year old daughter was visiting from Massachusetts and we took her and my 19 year old daughter for the boat ride. It was a gorgeous day and we all enjoyed it very much. The scenery is beautiful and we did see some Big Horn Sheep in the far distance! | ||||||

| Arrived early, but enjoyed just relaxing. Waiting area could use some sprucing up....but overall beautiful breeze and relaxing. Staff was excellent, from ticket booth to captain and crew. Everyone made us feel welcome. Each person was well informed about their job and certainly acted as if they enjoyed it - a welcome addition in todays world. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling in your area. | ||||||

| We all really enjoyed the 80 minute cruise tour on the lake. Breath taking scenery everywhere you look. Narrator provide background and humor in the presentation. The music played was memorable and appropriate to the event. | ||||||

| This is a must for anyone who likes to view the grandeur of nature in comfort. Two couples of us came here from Austin, Texas for Spring Training baseball games and this was a side trip because we had extra time. It was agreed by the four of us that this was one of the best parts of our trip. Texas hill country is great but it pales compared to Canyon Lake tour. This is a six ****** star attraction. Be sure and bring your camera and your binoculars. | ||||||

| We not only lucked out with a perfect weather, (sunny, temperature just right, spring green and wildflowers blooming) the scenery is really beautiful and changes around every bend. The attendants on the boat kept a lookout for wildlife and were able to point out a great blue heron, some turkey vultures, two bald eagles, and some big horned sheep. There was comfortable seating as well as plenty of opportunity to move about the boat to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. | ||||||

| We celebrated our mother's 82 birthday! She loved it and so did the other 9 of us! Captain Jeff was very informative and we had a lot of fun! We will definitely recommend you to all of our friends (and already have). | ||||||

Good Tour -but Bad Timing

| We went on this cruise over Memorial Day weekend and I would not suggest people do that. The volume of the speakers was probably loud enough on a regular day, but on this day, my husband and I could not hear much of what was being said and none of the beautiful music I had been told about. My sister and friends did this cruise in March and commented over and over about how wonderful, peaceful, and overall great things were. We didn't find much peace there - there were so many boats "flying" by us and lots of noise - too much to hear over. The actual cruise is great - the scenery beautiful. Of course we saw no animals - what animal would come out into that kind of chaos! There were birds flying though. I would suggest that people take this cruise - it is a wonderful one - just NOT ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND when everyone else in the Phoenix area and surrounding states decides this is the time to put their boats in the water and have picnics! I would love to go again - only this time in the spring or fall when not as many people are around. | ||||||

| Great service Seeing the big horn sheep was a bonus Food is great Weather perfect This is the 2nd time we've brought out of state guests on this cruise. None have seen anything like it. We highly recommend it. | ||||||

| The scenery was pretty. The cruise was a nice relaxing ride with a very funny captain. I do feel that there could have been a little more narration. Some type of information as to the history of the lake or it's surroundings. Overall the cruise was pleasant. | ||||||

| We thought the cruise was very enjoyable. The Captain gave some interesting info but didn't talk non-stop which can be very annoying. The food was excellent. They have a very good system for getting everyone served. We're locals who had never been on the lake so it was very interesting. We were on the upper deck & especially enjoyed seeing the stars. | ||||||
