Beautiful trip around the lake

| Captain Tom was a terrific narrator of the lake and surrounding area. He knew the geology of the rocks. We even saw some big horned sheep standing on the side of the mountain. Everything was good except for one of the crew members, she was a little snippy. She needed my AAA card when I got there to give me my tickets for my reservation (They should have said that I needed my AAA card when I reserved my spot on the boat), so I had to run back to the car. Also, I wanted to buy some snacks for the ride and she was in the middle of putting the tickets back in numerical order and could not stop instead she told me it would be a few minutes. This is something that she could have done after the boat ride instead of during. But other wise the trip was worth while!!! | ||||||

| This is the second trip on the Dolly in two weeks. The quality remains high. The crew is professional and also has a great sense of humor.It is obvious that they take great pride in their work and really enjoy what they are doing.. The narriative is informative and presented in a great format. The PA system is clear and the boat is immaculate. What a great day on the lake. Lunch in the dockside resturant is a bonus. Good food and people; what more could one want.? | ||||||

| This was our second trip on the Dolly. It was fantastic the first time and the second trip was equal. It is a great experience of a different part of Arizona. The vessel and the crew are terrific. It is an informational journey presented with humor.....that made it great. We have recommended this tour to many of our friends. Keep up the great work. | ||||||

| This was our 4th Dolly Cruise in 4 years. This time we took our 16 yr. old Granddaughter with us. We LOVED the twilight cruise in the summer as the daylight lasted so long we were abel to see and photograph the Bighorn Sheep, several Western Grebes, A Great Horned Owl and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! We took loads of pictures, and had our best time this time. Our other trips were the dinner cruises in the winter. The food is always EXCELLENT and the staff is Exceptional! I would reccommend this cruise to anyone coming to visit Arizona, or for those who live here. Sincerely, Milie and George Bilotta | ||||||

| This was a fabulous trip. Very enjoyable captain and crew and great scenery. An hour and a half for only $20. This trip would be a bargain at twice that amount. I would recommend it to everyone and we will do it again the next time we are in AZ. | ||||||

| Service was excellent. We saw bighorn sheep and deer. Please go when the moon is full - the moon fflecting off the water and canyon walls was breathtaking. | ||||||

| My 90 year old father and I took the 2:PM cruise. The Dolly was in top condition as they had just refurbished her. Jeff the Skipper was very entertaining with his wit and knowledge of the area. Cindi and Janet the crew members were great also. It was our 2nd time in 6 years on the cruise. Mike Coulter | ||||||

| My son and I decided to do this on Labor Day! it was nearly a 2 hour drive, but so worrht it, the cruise was wonderful. We were fortunate enough to select the back section of the boat, where we could move our chairs inorder to not have to sit in the sun! it was a bit warm that day. The cruise was just the right pace, time enough to enjoy the views! The narration was just right! not too much, not too little, the interesting scenery including old petrified logs, and the crevases in the rocks, the areas where you could tell that during certain parts of the year water would be falling off of the high cliffs. The interestingly named points, and out croppings were fun to look at, the elephant etc. The captains "mates" were great, and happily took our photos with the boat at the end of our ride. It was just the right amount of time and we sure enjoyed it. Then we went up to the restaraunt and had a delicious lunch! with great service. here's one idea for you, include the ride and a buffet lunch, maybe on Saturday and Sunday or on holidays, that way the cook wouldnt be so swamped all at once! and the waitresses, who weren't busy until we arrived! then they really had to fly! and hey I would spend $ 40 a piece for the ride with buffet included. And the buffet should be something different, fun, interesting! | ||||||

| Really nice! We went for our 18th anniversary and it was just great in every way! There is nothing I would change, it was so nice we could hardly stop saying how much we were enjoying ourselves. Even the food was excellent. Don't miss this, its one of the best ways to spend an AZ evening I can think of after living here for 16 years. TIP: Be sure to bring a jacket for cooler months of Nov - March. There is a sheltered area but you're going to want to spend a lot of time on the two decks so be sure to dress appropriately. | ||||||

| The Dolly Steamboat ride has been one of my favorite "touristy" things to do when family or friends come to visit. It is a beautiful view of the canyon and rock formations; a view you don't get driving down the road at 65 mph! The narrated tour is very interesting, so sit back and relax and enjoy this one-of-a-kind Arizona excursion! | ||||||
