| The Dolly Steamboat ride has been one of my favorite "touristy" things to do when family or friends come to visit. It is a beautiful view of the canyon and rock formations; a view you don't get driving down the road at 65 mph! The narrated tour is very interesting, so sit back and relax and enjoy this one-of-a-kind Arizona excursion! | ||||||

| great way to spend an afternoon. plenty of room with wonderful landscape photo shots. very good value. coupled with a morning drive on the apache trail and an afternoon water cruise life is good. Wine would be nice. | ||||||

| Our trip on the Dolly Steamboat was fantastic. We had a beautiful sunny day with perfect temperatures. Captain Tom was great and played the perfect music. It is definitely something I will do again when I have future visitors. | ||||||

| We were among ~ 100 people, including a tour bus of senior citizens, other families and young children, who rode the steamboat/paddle boat on a narrated cruise of the winding lake. The captin of the boat spoke about the canyon and the history, showing us different highlights of the rocks around the lake and we even saw big horn sheep on a steep side of one of the rocky surfaces. It was an enjoyable way to spend an hour and a-half. Afterward we ate at the lakeside restruarant and watched huge carp (fish,) several families of ducks, and big black birds vie for scraps of roll that the kids tossed off the deck into the water. The food was good, price was right and the afternoon was fun. This was June, Phoenix area was in the mid 90's but we were comfortable with the lake breeze, even at noontime when the cruise was offered. | ||||||

| this is our fourth trip on the Dolly because we enjoy it so much however , the food has gotten worse each time we have gone. At $65 per person we expect a steak that is more than 1/4 inch thick and tough as shoe leather. It should also be somewhat warm. This was nothing more than cafeteria quality food. If not for the scenery the trip would have been very dissappointing. | ||||||

| I enjoyed this as my first time on a watercraft. The scenery was beautiful as I expected from Arizona Canyons! The fact we saw big horn sheep was a real treat! I only wish I could have enjoyed the peacefulness of being on a quiet lake - I found the music distracting. The narration was great as he pointed out various points of interest, but in between - I would have preferred quiet time to hear the water and relative silence. Otherwise - I really did enjoy it and recommend to others - we plan to take the astronomy tour when weather warms up for night time viewing! | ||||||

| We had a truly enjoyable time aboard the Dolly! Springtime in the desert is amazing; this trip highlighted some incredibly beautiful sights. Our group consisted of two couples who only occasionally get together, and we were able to catch up while on the cruise. The informative narration was interspersed with calming music, allowing for conversation. It was great to divide our time between seats inside the boat and the open rear deck. Views were spectacular! | ||||||

| Canyon Lake is great. The tour is nice, but it is not a paddle boat. It is more like a double decker platform that holds about 50 people on each deck. If you are a group of 6 or more, you might want to rent a personal pontoon boat. That way you can bring food and drinks on board, stop and swim, and enjoy yourself. Our group will be back next year and we'll spend the extra money for our little boat. | ||||||

| I absolultely loved the dinner cruise. The staff and captain were polite and funny. The food was fabulous, the narration along the way was just enough, not too much talking. The music was great, it was very relaxing. We went mid September, so the weather was just perfect. We sat in the front of the boat, uncovered. Turned out to be a perfect view. A lot of people who passed by us from the upper level said we had the best seat and wished they were sitting where we were. Something to keep in mind. I would highly recommend this to anyone, I don't have one negative review about it.... | ||||||

| A beautiful, peaceful cruise from the lake through the canyon. We saw a big horn sheep. The rock formations are very colorful. The cruise is 90 minutes but it goes by fast as you are busy watching nature and the landscape. This is my second time to take this tour and I loved it. | ||||||
