It was great but I have a few suggestions. The person who took our tickets was about 10 minutes late opening the ticket booth so folks standing in line were quite irritated which didn't make a good start to the program. Also the main cabin got very messy with popcorn and junk all over tables and the floor. People should pick up their messes but when they don't, your stewards should keep doing so. It got pretty messy by the bathrooms on the floor in front. Also, the caption should talk into the mircrophone louder as it was hard to hear at times and sometimes I couldn't hear him at all. I like the beautiful setting around the lake and that you take advantage of that with the boat ride is a real treat. I also like that you let people on the boat in groups so there isn't a mad rush to get a good seat. Thanks!! I'll be back.

Hello, This is our third trip on the Dolly Boat ride. Each time we have out of town guests, this is a "things to do" with them... we truly enjoy the scenery, the host/captain etc.

Taking a cruise of Canyon Lake, aboard the Dolly Steamboat , on a cool afternoon in the early fall, followed by some chili and beer at Tortilla Flat afterwards, was, simply , a very relaxed way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The employees were all friendly and laid back, the refreshment prices were reasonable, and the view was wonderful. This is a good day trip for locals or tourists, families, couples, or individuals. It won't knock your socks off, but that's o.k., because, as relaxed a trip as it is, you needn't be wearing any to begin with.

An excellently organized dinner cruise for what I consider a very good value. While it got a little chilly due to unexpected weekend temperatures, overall things were super. The food was excellent, particularly the filet mignon was delectable. One of the top 10 things to do in an evening in Arizona, without doubt. Don't miss this!

The food was very good, the ride very pleasant, it was a little cold. This was our 1 month wedding anniversary and we couldn't have found a better way to celebrate it.

Although I wouldn't recommend this for families with very young, very active children, our family thoroughly enjoyed it. Our 10 and 13 year old daughters enjoyed the cruise as did their parents. It was a beautiful day and a relaxing, scenic way to see a different aspect of Arizona. The drive on the Apache Trail to get to the Dolly is also quite interesting and scenic-- especially for flatlanders like us.

We took the 90 minute noon cruise and found it to be relaxing, interesting and enjoyable. Was narrated nicely. The price was reasonable. Snacks were sufficient and the price was right. Got to see a little nature as well. Things were done in an orderly fashion. The restaurant on the grounds was also nice and reasonable.

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise very much. We enjoyed the cruise. We went to Tortilla Flat for lunch after the cruise (recommended by people we met on the cruise.

My grandsons enjoy crusing Canyon Lake on the Dolly Steamboat. The highlight is seeing the Bighorn Sheep in the cliffs above the river. This is the second cruise we have taken, and both times we were able to spot the Bighorn Sheep. Many of those we meet on the cruise have been locals taking out-of-town visitors. We live on the west side of Phoenix, and still enjoy the peacefulness of the cruise and the desert landscape ringing the lake. One suggestion would be to include a little more about the Native peoples who inhabited the area before white settlers came to the area. Visitors are always interested in hearing about our wonderful Native American heritage.

Our daughter was visiting from out of state. We wanted to take her to a different type of sight seeing event. The cruise was just excellent. It was everything we hoped for and more. The captain and crew were very friendly and helpful. The cruise was smooth, very beautiful and enjoyable for all of us.

The cruise was very nice. The captain would stop at different places so we could take pictures, and he narrated the whole trip. It was very scenic, and the weather was perfect. There were snacks and beverages on the boat that you could purchase. After the cruise we went to the restaurant. The food was very good. We will go again. We highly recommend this cruise. Pat Hughes

The boat ride provided one to relax and kick back without having to wonder what is next. The scenery was beautiful and water was calm. The drive over there was like being in your own movie as beautiful as it was. I recomend this cruise to nowhere to anyone who needs to take a break from the real world. I know I will do it again.
