Pleasant evening on the water

| Loved the cruise. Food was mediocre. Great scenery, pleasant crew, interesting information, peaceful ride. We were surprised by a sudden rainstorm near the end of the cruise, but the rest of the evening made up for the inconvenience. Fortunately we had already finished our dessert. | ||||||

| The above header is what we called the unscheduled entertainment; namely a fantastic lightening show provided by "Mother Nature ." It was truely 'awesome!' There were 9 in the group; three men and six women. We all belong to either the American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary and were in the Phoenix area attending our National Convention. The daylight part of the cruise provided us with many breathtaking sights as well. I do believe everyone in the group enjoyed the meal. I know I did. | ||||||

| The weather was a little warm but with the breeze off the water it was great. The Captain was charming, witty, and very informative. Very relaxing cruise on the lake, absolutely beautiful. I would definitly do this again. | ||||||

| We have lived in Arizona many years and just never visited this area. We were pleasantly surprised. It truly is an Arizona sight. The cruise was very nice and the Arizona topography was great. Might suggest visiting in another month than August, but was still a very nice trip. We had breakfast at Tortilla Flats and toured the area before the noon cruise. | ||||||

| Captain Tom presents an extremely entertaining cruise that is worth attending. His narration and speed of the cruise are well refined from years of experience. We had the dinner and astronomy cruise: the food was extremely good! They obviously take great pride in their food. Dr. Sky complements the ride with his thorough knowledge of the sky, including satellites passing overhead. It was the middle of August for a very full moon, which was gorgeous due to the darkness of the canyon. The bright moon made it difficult to see the majority of stars, but the moon was more than worth it. The temperature was in the mid to upper 90's and getting close to the fringe of slightly uncomfortable, even though the sun had set. My clothes were sticking to my body, but that is expected when on a lake at those temperatures. For fringe health ages, like young children or elderly, the cooler months of October to March would probably be more agreeable. Yeah, I plan on bringing more friends and family here for this experience. | ||||||

| We had a really nice time on the trip. Dr. Sky was onboard, so it was quite interesting to hear his information. The food was surprisingly exceptional! We had very low expectations when it came to the food and were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality. We enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife. Our kids are 13 and also had a really good time. I would recommend it to others who are looking for something fun to do. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this to anyone. It was a great time and I enjoyed it greatly. The only aspect I would improve is the seating arrangements...sometimes hard to view stuff, especially on the astronomy cruise. | ||||||

| I enjoyed the cruise so much. It was a lot of fun the crew were great. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have fun. I would recommend doing it when it was cooler out- alittle humid | ||||||

| Highly Recommend For Adults & Children All Ages. All those aboard seemed to have a most enjoyable time. Excellent narrative by Captain Tom and beautiful scenery. Great photo opportunities! We saw a family of Bighorn Sheep, two cute tiny little ones included! Well worth the ticket price.....in fact......I think it might be UNDERPRICED!!!!.....but let's keep that a secret! | ||||||

| Once we got off 60, the rest of the drive to Canyon Lake was very picturesque. The moment that the lake came into view was breathtaking! "Dolly" is a great looking steamboat and her crew were very sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating. The passengers on board, unfortunately, were subjected to a grandmotherly type woman who was boating with her friends, pulling down her bathing suit and exposing her buttocks to us. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone who loves the water and nature! I give it two thumbs up!!! | ||||||
