| The scenery, food, and atmosphere make this an extremely pleasant activity. My only recommendation would be to put some timelines on your map, as people from outside the area may not realize how far (in time) the location is from Phoenix and how much time it takes to drive the twisting, two-lane road. | ||||||

| My husband and I treated our good friends, a couple living here in AZ, one of whom was celebrating a birthday, to the dinner cruise. We had a most enjoyable experience. Our friend said it was the best birthday gift he'd ever gotten. The trip down Canyon Lake was so scenic and points of interest were well narrated by the Captain. The dinner was VERY good; the fillet especially tender. The crew was very professional and pleasant, willing to help anyone who might have needed any assistance with anything! Over all, we had a most enjoyable, relaxing time and will recommend this to any friends who haven't yet had this experience! | ||||||

| The cruise was very nice, the captain was informative.We would do the cruise again. The dinner was not worth the price. The meal was cooked prior & then guests were asked to go to get the meal from the aft deck. By the time we got our turn, the chicken was dry & cold & the filet megnon was luke warm & way over done. The veggies were gone & the server could not find many in the juice, the salad had been picked over & not much left other than large whie pieces of iceberg lettuce. | ||||||

| Thank you for an enjoyable, relaxing steamboat tour of Canyon Lake. The captain of the boat was entertaining and knowledgeable about the plant, animal, and rock formation history. It was such a peaceful and restful afternoon trip. The staff was courteous and friendly. We will definitely want to experience the dinner cruise on another visit. Congratulations to you all for your excellence in making our experience a wonderful cruise. | ||||||

| This was a fun event. The captain was entertaining and fun and very imformative. I would recommend this to anyone. But not when the weather is hot. | ||||||

| The upper deck was hot in the sun but you saw more height during the cruise. The lower deck was comfortable in the shade and the inside cabin had padded seats. Both upper and lower decks had shade and sun seating available. The snackbar was a nice option to have as you could only bring bottled water on the boat. The director did a nice job of describing what we were seeing. A herd of big horn sheep was the highlight of the afternoon. A bald eagle and nest was too far for a good photo but beautiful to watch. I would go back after a good rain to see the natural waterfalls. The noon trip seemed less crowded than the 2pm departure. Bring sunblock! It was nice to be able to walk about the boat but please be respectful of the people sitting behind you. You have tables with chairs that seat 2 to 6 and there was enough standing room in the back of the boat to be comfortable. We arrived 30 min. early and that was plenty of time. You are issued a boarding pass in the order you arrive so if you want to be first on the boat come at least an hour early, but be prepared to sit and wait. There is a covered seating area while you wait and a snack area that you can buy ice cream or other snacks while you wait to board. The boat was clean and safe. The staff was friendly. We got to sit with a nice couple at our table and overall the trip was enjoyable. Binoculars and camera with a good zoom is a good idea to bring along. State law requires all children to wear a life jacket during the cruise so if your little ones are very mobile or don't like wearing the life jacket, get a sitter. There was a mom that didn't enjoy the cruise at all because her active 4 year old wouldn't sit without disturbing those around him and kept trying to remove the life vest. Other than feeling her frustration as a mom it was very relaxing. Nice, soothing music played in the background and we felt like we really got away for the day. We went during April so the weather was perfect, high of 85 and a nice cool breeze. Any warmer might have made it less enjoyable. We are looking forward to coming back with our boat and spending the weekend with the kids. A great way to check out the lake and decide if you want to come back. We recommend this boat tour. | ||||||

| Canyon Lake is absolutely beautiful!! The scenery is breathtaking. The cruise on the lake was leisurely and relaxing for a total of 90 min. Dolly Steamboat is well maintained and very clean with seats for everyone. The "crew" was knowledgable and very entertaining and personable. We will be returning and taking the grandkids with us. | ||||||

| We thought this would be a great activity for my parents who were visiting. We also thought this tour was child-friendly. Neither turned out to be true. Yes, kids are 'allowed'. However, I would think long and hard before bringing any children under 12. We didn't know children, even babies, were required to wear life-jackets at all times on the top deck. Once we got settled, one of the tour guides was EXTREMELY direct, almost rude, regarding our two children, not only having their life jackets on, but, snapping all of the snaps. (Is it REALLY necessary to snap all the snaps on a over-sized life jacket for a 6 MONTH old, who we're holding?) Anyways, moved to the bottom and were all counting down the minutes for the tour to be over. On a positive note, it seemed like all the guest over 75 years of age were really enjoying themselves. | ||||||

| Very enjoyable. Friendly and knowageable crew. Information she didn't have she looked up for us. Not as much wild life as we expected but did see some big horn sheep and beautiful scenery. Would recommend the cruise but not the drive to it if you are afraid of heights. | ||||||
