Great Dinner Cruise

| We celebrated Father's Day on the Dolly Steam Boat. Had a Great time! the weather was a little hot, but very worth it. Dinner was very good as well! Boat was nice, but could tell it is quite dated. Maybe you could pour a little more money in to it and make it a real classy ride. Bathrooms were kinda gross. | ||||||

| We went on the 1-1/2 hour boat trip - it was just long enough and somewhat relaxing although the music was hard to hear at times. Somewhat informative - beautiful scenery. It is a nice trip to take for out of town guests. Would prefer different types of food offered, such as ice cream. Everything was salty. Lemonade would be good also. Priced a little bit too high. | ||||||

| Our family wholeheartedly loved every minute of our cruise! We had a relative visiting from Texas who said it was one of the most enjoyable afternoons he'd experienced. Though the temp hovered at around 110, the breezes off the lake kept us refreshed and we were glad that snacks & beverages were also offered! We all very much appreciated Captain Tom's narration as it was not continuous and allowed us just enough time to converse with each other, while at the same time offering invaluable & interesting information on the rock formations, history of the area & local wildlife. The seating was comfortable & each area of the boat offered the ability to have panoramic views of the entire lake. Though water activities were happening all around us they did not distract from our cruise and, in fact, added to our enjoyment of the day! Afterwards, our family had a picnic & headed over to Tortilla Flats for prickly pear ice cream. All in all, a beautiful day which started with a delightful cruise on the Dolly Steamboat. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone local or visiting the area and we'll be returning again soon! | ||||||

| This was a really nice dinner cruise around Canyon Lake. The staff was especially helpful as we had reserved our tickets for inside the cabin and they quickly recommended we sit outside on the bow of the boat. The weather was perfect for this. Food was good (very filling) and restrooms were clean. An enjoyable Arizona evening! | ||||||

| I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MY DINNER CRUISE WITH 2 EXCEPTIONS. FIRST, I DON'T SEE WHY OUR GROUP SHOULD BE CHARGED MORE. WE ALL SAT IN THE SAME AREA AND WERE NOT CATERED TO ANY DIFFERENT. WE WERE NOT WAITED ON SPECIALLY AS A GROUP SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE WERE CHARGED MORE. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS CRUISE TO OTHERS AND THOSE THAT ARE NOT IN A GROUP SETTING SAID THEY WOULD ATTEND,THE OTHERS AGREE WITH ME AND BECAUSE OF THE EXTRA CHARGE FOR GROUPS PROBABLY WONT' ATTEND. THE OTHER THING IS, CAPTAIN TOM WAS GREAT AND FUN AND INFORMATIVE, BUT, WE COULD HARDLY HEAR HIM. I DON'T KNOW IF HE NEEDS TO SPEAK UP OR IF IT IS THE SPEAKER SYSTEM BUT WE GAVE UP TRYING TO LISTEN TO HIM. IT WASN'T THAT THE AREA AROUND ME WAS LOUD EITHER. OTHERWISE WE DID HAVE FUN. | ||||||

| We had a great time and would (do) recommend it to everyone. The drive there was scenic and easy to find Dolly. The ship was clean and the crew friendly. Dinner was fantastic! Great job. | ||||||

Internet booking non refund policy stinks

| Due to one of the children being too poorly to go on the boat, even though we had checked in we could not take the trip. Due to the trip being booked and paid for over the internet we could not get a refund. I suggest that you do not pay for the trip on the internet, reservations can be made (I've since learnt) and payment made on the day which would have saved me $80. As for the trip I'm sure it's great and hope to find out the next time I make a reservation on the Dolly paddle boat | ||||||

| We bought tickets for our 5 year olds that were present, but we had a three year old and was told he did not get a meal. I think that should have been part of the information that we received. We would have made different arrangements. Also, I did not like the fact that we had to pay additional money because we were a group, when we got the same service as everyone on the boat. It is not like they ran around and paid special attention to our group. I also think you should work on your crew to at least smile. They were not every friendly except for a couple of the ladies. Sorry this sound negative but I think these are some area's that should be worked on. Over all we all like the cruse including the food, which was every good. There are just a couple of area's that need to be worked on. | ||||||

| WE have enjoyed both the evening dinner cruise and the daytime nature trip. Both are delightful. The Captain's (Captain TOM) narration was very concise, amusing and just generally well done. I would heartily recommend either of these two trips. | ||||||
