Could the desert be this scenic

| When one considers a visit to the desert, one never imagines beauty like is seen on the Canyon Lake cruise - the scenery is spectacular and the boat staff cordial and attentive to detail, especially the safety of their passengers - I'd recommend this cruise to everyone that visits the Sonorian desert | ||||||

| The weather was perfect, the trip just fast enough to see the beautiful scenery and take pictures, the staff friendly and helpful and knowledgable about the boat and scenery. The meal eaten by candlelight was great and more than enough food (for me) with the canyon walls in silhouette and then later lighted from the light reflected from the boat. The music was mellow and appropriate. We recommend this trip. Don't know how it would be if the weather is bad though. | ||||||

| We enjoyed a wonderful day! The history and geographic info Captain Tom shared was very interesting & the music was a nice complement. The views in every direction were fantastic. I would recommend this cruise to anyone...whether resident Arizonan or out of state import or visitor. It makes for an outstanding day trip! | ||||||

| The trip was great in itself. The boat was clean, the staff was excellent. Capt. Tom was great. I would recommend it as a very fun and exciting day event. The only draw back was the flies. Also, the waiting area. Why don't you put fans in that area (that would help the fly problem). It was very warm just sitting there and I don't think there was not a person fanning themselves. No air movement. The flies are hard to control but maybe a good spray about 2 hrs before the first cruise might help. I know we went in August and it many not be the same for the other months and I am sure it is not but for the summer months these little suggestions might help future passengers enjoy their day alot better. Also. the restaurant had lots of flies inside and we killed about 6 ourselves. Very uncomfortable with flies flying around and that is why we did not order a breakfast or lunch just french fries. We both could keep the flies off the fries with only one plate to watch. Also, maybe open earlier around 9am or even 10am. Again, maybe just for the summer to get people out of the heat. There were flies on the boat too, so maybe spray that too about 2 hrs. before sail. I am fully aware that this is going to be a hard situation to control but if you take the advice of the fans and the restaurant that would be a good start to improve your event. Cause I would tell people of these problems so they would be aware of it. All in all it was alot of fun. Thank you for a friendly staff and a great Capt. Tom. So that is it from me | ||||||

| The entire state of Arizona is breathtaking. We have extremely enjoyed our experience traveling throughout the state. Our trip on the Dolly Steamboat was an added pleasure. We highly recommend it to anyone. It was very easy to obtain tickets & the arrangements when we got there was hassle free....which is a big bonus. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming....... A trip enjoyed by all of us.. | ||||||

| We throughly enjoyed our trip. The day was beautiful? The rocks and some of their imaginary formations as told by the captain- were fun. It was hard to believe that this canyon's rock formations were millions of years old. The captain and crew were very friendly. The captain even took some extra time to let us watch two rams and thier families in the upper elevation of the canyon. We would recommend this trip to anyone. | ||||||

| When visiting the Phoenix area, you have to stop at Canyon Lakes and take the Dolly's Steamboat tour. It's the best and will give you a glimpse of Arizona (Grand Canyon) up close and personal. | ||||||

| Our family has been doing this cruise every Christmas Eve since 1991 and only the Dolly being in drydock stopped the one in 2007. Everyone conncected with the cruise are extremely friendly. | ||||||

| From buying my tickets through Zerve to disembarking from the ride, this experience was most enjoyable. The Zerve customer service person, box office person, and steamboat staff could not have been nicer. I, also, appreciate the cleanliness of the boat. Knowing there would be a restroom on board was a big plus. I wish there had been more wildlife to see, but I know you can't control that. We had fun and I've already told many of my friends about the Dolly Steamboat. | ||||||

| Our family all enjoyed this cruise on Canyon Lake. The views were incredible and the music and narration added to the afternoon. This is a great way to see the lake and learn about how it came about. We are sure we will be back because seeing this again during a different season would be so interesting and the beauty of the desert is so very relaxing! | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We wish it could have been longer. The scenery is beautiful and it was so wonderful to see this part of Arizona. We will bring our guests on this trip. The narration was excellent and the background music most enjoyable. At the landing there is a wonderful restaurant. Just one suggestion: put a railing along the walkway all the way to boat. It feels like one could stumble into the water. Thanks for a great trip!! | ||||||
