| Very safety consious, the Skipper and 1st Mate were very knowledgeable of all surroundings especially when the Eagle and Turkey Buzzards flew, then that wasnt all, then the Mountain sheep were spotted right away. This was a very interesting and quiet laid back trip on a very well built vessel. The music played was very relaxing. We will come again! This is exactly what we read about, the Little Grand Canyon. I tip my hat off to the people that continue to bring us the natural beauty of Arizona we didnt know existed. Thank You Steamboat Dolly family and crew. As retired Navy, this trip was a pleasure and brought back some great memories. | ||||||

Fun time and great lake and nature viewing

| We took the Dolly nature tour and really loved it. We saw all types of animals (big horn sheep, eagles, vultures, waterfowl and more) and great Arizona plants and rock formations. It was great and at 90 minutes a perfect length. Plenty of shaded seating and you're allowed to roam about as well. Since the water is still cool at this time of year, there wasn't much other traffic on the lake, which was nice. I wouldn't mind more specific information about the nature and geology, but most folks will absolutely enjoy the content. Definitely will go back with or without visiting relatives. :) Get your reservations as our tour was full and only two walk-ons were allowed. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the cruise. The captain was informative and funny, the staff was all very professional and kind. The food was really good. All in all, it was a very nice cruise that I would recommend to my friends who were visiting the area. | ||||||

| Our dinner cruise was very enjoyable. The crew did its best to make our experience pleasant and provided information without being intrusive. We saw bald heron, eagle and bighorn sheep. | ||||||

| This 90 minute narrated cruise is so relaxing; our captain had a wonderful speaking voice. He described the beautiful scenery, the rock formations, and some history of the area. We saw a few big horn sheep standing way on top of the rocks, and the captain made sure everyone had a view of them by turning the boat around. Although it was quite warm out, there was a slight breeze on the lake. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We winter in AZ, and if we have more visitors, we will recommend this tour to them. | ||||||

| The boat is very clean, and the Captain (Jeff) is enthusiastic, interesting and knowledgeable. All guests are greeted as they board, children are given appropriate-sized life vests, and the fun begins almost immediately! It's a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. | ||||||

| When we arrived ahead of time and needed to get something to eat, we were given a ticket with a low number on it for getting on the boat. We were also told the boat would be boarded acccording to numbers so we took out time eating. When we went back out to board, the announcement came that the first 50 people could board. We had low numbers, but it didn't matter as 46 other people pushed on to the boat. Why pass out numbers and then allow 50 people to board? When I asked about the numbers, one of the crew members just said tersely, "Just board, there's plenty of room." Reservations are definitely needed> | ||||||
