| We took some out of town family on the Dolly Steamboat. They truly loved it and can't stop talking about what a great time they had. The scenery was beautiful and the naration made the whole ride worthwile. Even my young children enjoyed it. I would definitely come back again. | ||||||

| My group of 4 took the Dolly Tour on Canyon Lake on Sunday October 11, 2009. What a beautiful, glorious day it was! The tour was well attended and represented a good showing of all ages. With great weather (what else can you expect in southern Arizona) we were able to spend ample time outside enjoying the absolutely beautiful scenery. What was great to see were the numerous people enjoying themselves in the boating and jet skiing activities througout the tour. I recommend this tour to all. | ||||||

| This was a last minute decision on our part. First time visitors to Phoenix and with all the options of things to do, places to go; we decided on Canyon Lake. We're very glad we did. Beautiful drive to and from and a very enjoyable boat trip. Crew was knowledgeable and pleasant. Thank you! | ||||||

| This was a wonderful trip. Having lived in Arizona for 17 years, I'd never heard of the Dolly Steam Boat...it took a visiting couple from England to enlighten me and my sister to its existence. I have already recommended this trip to everyone at work. The restaurant at the marina left MUCH to be desired. Service was poor, waited over 45 min for our breakfast which made us have to eat in a hurry to get on boat, could not find waitress for bill....next time we will eat breakfast in the valley. | ||||||

| Best money that we spent while on vacation. Scenery was awesome, boat was great, staff was helpful and knowledgable, and the Captain did a great job. How can I move this boat ride to Florida? | ||||||

| We had prime rib. The server was not clear as to what was "allowed" in the serving line. She gave you no time to consider your options. My wife doesn't eat prime rib so the server gave her two chicken breasts. I asked the server why I couldn't have her prime rib and I would give my wife my chicken breast which would give my wife two pieces and the server wouldn't allow it. Why not I asked and she shooshed me off to the next server (a man) I feel I was taken. 62.50 per person is a lot of money, and I felt as though the server wasn't allowing us to figure out how we could best get our money's worth. Other than feeling I got taken by not allowing me to have the prime rib I paid for, It was a nice cruise | ||||||

| We were celebrating our 19th anniversary with our grown son & daughter-in-law and our youngest son. It was also his 16th birthday. The way in which everything was handled, from the reservations to getting directions, to boarding and dinner was very, very nicely done. We are from Phoenix and had never seen big horn sheep before. We saw several on the trip and it was wonderful. The dinner was very well prepared, generous portions and staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. The captain and staff knew about our celebrations and made an extra effort to make it a special day for all of us. The only thing I would change would be the sturdiness of the dinnerware. The plates were a little flimsy and hard to manage from the buffet table on the first level to the upstairs dining area. | ||||||

| My 65th birthday was special so friends decided we should take a cruise. This was a wonderful evening, as the weather was perfect. Captain Jeff was so personable & knowledgeable & made each passenger feel special. As my husband has limited mobility, the customer reps on board were extremely helpful. The meal was very tasty and plentiful. There was a soft breeze as we cruised through the canyons & we even spotted 5 or 6 big horn sheep along with several deer. Seeing the sun setting through the canyon walls was a bonus. Perhaps next time we'll take the astronomy cruise, which also has the great dinner along with an educated astronomer informing passengers of the spectacular sights in the heavens. I would not hesitate this excursion for anyone. | ||||||

| bees bees bees! Ok, the cruise was ok. tooled around the lake. went down into the cove at one end of it and back again. lotsa rock cliffs. we did see couple sheep and some ram. bring your binoculars, camera, maybe jacket later or early in the season; might get cold. Dont sit near concession stand. The boat is just a power house boat thats been convrted for the cruise. no biggie there. Get ther early to get seating up top. We didnt so we were stuck inside with cap't's lame tour jokes. The entrance was swarming with bees. So was the pop machine dispenser INSIDE the boat. There was a BOATLOAD of bees around this boat (boating humor) on the boat, during the cruise and a TON on shore. But the staff didnt care. All n all it was kinda boring and annoying. Oh, and pretty drive going up there. With windey roads | ||||||

| I enjoyed this as my first time on a watercraft. The scenery was beautiful as I expected from Arizona Canyons! The fact we saw big horn sheep was a real treat! I only wish I could have enjoyed the peacefulness of being on a quiet lake - I found the music distracting. The narration was great as he pointed out various points of interest, but in between - I would have preferred quiet time to hear the water and relative silence. Otherwise - I really did enjoy it and recommend to others - we plan to take the astronomy tour when weather warms up for night time viewing! | ||||||
