| This play was rewardingly action packed and very funny. I fell in love with one main actor, that made the whole evening worth while. I have been to previous Saturday plays at the Billie Holiday Theatre, this was my first Friday evening play and I enjoyed it so much I will change to Friday evenings. I felt more relaxed and comfortable with enough room to stretch out. I was very satisfied. I took my 15 year old son and he told me he like the Desire play the best. The play touched real life topics, and was very close to home. Outstanding stage atmosphere. I will use Zerve again for future programs. The service was excellent and time saving. Thank you. | ||||||

| Jackie Alexander's play (which he also directed) is a comedic, but also provocative, look at hot-button issues as the light skin/dark skin dichotomy among African-Americans; the right of women to pursue their own lives on their own terms; and love, marriage, and infidelity. Alexander provides strong insight through his creation of complex characters and observant, often pungent, dialogue. His direction is also sharp, with excellent acting, particularly from Aura Vence and Nicoye Banks. This isn't exactly family entertainment, but an adult, mature look at people dealing with difficult issues. Its warmth and intelligence make it a very good evening at the theatre. NOTE: This play will end its run on March 22nd; there are a few seats left, so you'll have to hurry if you want to catch it. It's well worth rushing to the Billie Holiday Theatre to see. | ||||||

| This play is brilliantly written. There is great humor interwoven with some very serious issues. I found it willing to explore some uncomfortable places, and could create a wonderful conversation. The writer is truly gifted. One of the actors played for the laughs in my opinion which was unfortunate, but the other actors, and the wonderful script more than compensated for his poor choice! | ||||||

| I think the show was very good. The surprise turn in events towards the end was facinating... Great job by all involved-from the actors to the stage manager. The only negative comment I have is the theater wa a little too warm. | ||||||

| This play includes all women from every walk of life, age, and race. Although the actors are African American Women, it doesn' tell a story of our race, it tells a story of women. Lets not forget about the men who also have the challenge of determining if older women are for them. Such powerful messages, it deserves a second look. So I am going back. Powerful messages, funny story and you keep wanting more and more. Rose Jackman Brooklyn, New York | ||||||

| I highly recommend this play to be seen. The play was very entertaining. One can relate to the theme(s) and situations being portrayed in the play. The actors embodied their roles and connected with their fellow actors, and so provided a fluid, realistic and funny performance. Lots of kudos to the playwright and actors, the play was well written, relevant to the Caribbean community, and also relevant to male/female and family relationships for everyone in general. | ||||||

| I enjoyed the show very much and the actors played their parts very well. The characters were strong especially the stock broker (female) and Theo (the cousin). The immigration status of the characters was not brought up except for the scene when the rehearsal was done in anticipation of the INS appointment. The reversal of the roles of the couples was not anticipated. The model's compassion was also strong. Would go to see it again. | ||||||
