The play was a nice comedy with real life issues dramatized. The actors were good at their craft. The theatre needs some cosmetic work and repairs done.

This play gave me and my 16 year old son a friday evening of laughter and bonding. The play is especially good for young male friends on the night out looking for adventure and a great theatre acting. The four male actors were great, I recommend this play for all to see.

This play was rewardingly action packed and very funny. I fell in love with one main actor, that made the whole evening worth while. I have been to previous Saturday plays at the Billie Holiday Theatre, this was my first Friday evening play and I enjoyed it so much I will change to Friday evenings. I felt more relaxed and comfortable with enough room to stretch out. I was very satisfied. I took my 15 year old son and he told me he like the Desire play the best. The play touched real life topics, and was very close to home. Outstanding stage atmosphere. I will use Zerve again for future programs. The service was excellent and time saving. Thank you.

I think the show was very good. The surprise turn in events towards the end was facinating... Great job by all involved-from the actors to the stage manager. The only negative comment I have is the theater wa a little too warm.

Great acting and excellent storryline. This is a show that men will enjoy as much as women. I laughed as the time flew by, not one glance at my watch.

The play had laughing and the acting was really good at most points. I did not like that there were NOT assigned sets. It was pretty much a free for all like at the movie theater. I live in NJ (10 min outside of mid-town) so I've been to lots of places in NY before....this neighborhood was a little questionable. I'm glad the subway stop was only a 2 block walk! Good for an older group of girl friends to go see together.
Refreshingly Enjoyable Losing The Light

I enjoyed viewing ‘Losing the Light’ at the Billie Holiday theater. The atmosphere was intimate and the setting arrangement was very comfortable. The overall experience was generally better than some of my Broadway experiences. I will continue to support the Billie Holiday Theater by suggesting and promoting events to my associates.

The play itself was very entertaining. It hit some very serious issues. My only dissappointment was with the handling of the tickets with the theatre. I purchased my tickets through Zerve. When I arrived at the theatre at 7:30 I was told that I had to stand on a long line in order to obtain my tickets. The individuals that actually purchased their tickets on line should have the opportunity to obtain their tickets on line and not stand on one long line once they arrive at the theatre to obtain tickets that were previously paid for. The line moved extremely slow, due to only one person manning the booth. Also, by the time my family and I entered the theatre we couldn't sit together because we couldn't find any seats together. We actually enjoyed the play regardless of the rocky start. I strongly recommend for someone of authority to look into this matter, and try to come up with a solution. It had a good story line. The actors were very professional and talented. It had a few slow moments seguing from one character's story line to another.

I made the choice to see this play because I have two single daughters. I thought this would be something that would strike an interest with them, and yes it did. The oldest daughter reminded us of my youngest one, and the youngest daughter reminded us of my oldest one which made it so interesting. We enjoyed from beginning to the end... The story was told so well and it kept your attention. I would definitely see it again. I give it an A...
