The story plot was excellent. The moral of the story brillant. Desire continuous reminded many to stop being something that you are not. As a person from the City projects (Van Dyke to be exact), I could relate to the many people I grew up with who wish to forget where they are from. Eventually, your past will show up again and again. I loved Desire. Please keep these excellent plays running.

How do you spell E X C E L L E N T! It was the absolute best for the year. I believe since 6/06 I have seen 4 plays that ranged from ok to hum drum drum and offbeat, however, and to be precise if this were on Broadway with the same group of folk, I would have paid for the $100.00 seats and believe me I am 1 economical person : ). Most definitely I was ecstatic and raved about it to the folk on my job hurrying them to catch this. The repoire of the characters was wonderful, the timing between Tyrone and his cousin was perfect. A standing ovation in my heart and action given the same, may I say salute'.. Loved it Please share with the group of actors because it was certainly on my heart to write to the Billie Holiday theatre. Rosemary McCray

The curtain opened exactly at 8pm and the play held our attention from the first line thru the last line. The actors were professional and the play was well written with twists and turns that made the audience gasp. The scenery was well done, the theatre was clean and the set up was open seating, we had good seats (one man and three women in my group). I am a repeat patron of the Billie Holiday Theatre and definitely recommend their productions. The Zerve ticketing process was very convenient and I was able to pick up the tickets before show time.

This play was well put together, it was professional and real. I took my mom, and it feeled like it was a special moment, we shared together in someone's else living room. There were moments, I felt like crying, dancing, shouting and laughing!! This play should be advistised much more!!!

The Production was delightul informative as well as entertaining. The stereo types that were brought out in this play were truly right on. It is wonderful that our community is coming together to educate our people regarding a disease that has taken the African American community by strom. The sad part about this is that it is 100% preventable.!!! I strongly recommend this play to our young people who don't believe that it could be them. I suggest it to everyone of all races to see because even though African Americans are the hardest hit, all races and ages are at risk. P.S. PLEASE TAKE OUT THE PART WHERE SWEET TAKES OF HIS SHIRT I FORGOT MY HUSBAND WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a Great Sunday Afternoon Nursey in Brooklyn

When i presented the e- ticket the receptionist said "what this" without even as much as a glance- after I had been kept waiting while she was on the telephone. Her co workers made no attempt to assist her with the patrons. I have been to the theatre once before to see Four Mrn on A Couch- mr Alexander played Jesse in it. I was so impressed I decided to return. m My daughter is visiting from California- I traveled from Yonkers. I am a native of Brooklyn. Frankly I find the rudeness embarassing and am not surprised that the theatre has never been full even though the performances are stellar! Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback. We have always enjoyed attending plays at the Billie Holiday Theater. It has been a custom of my family for years now. The High Pristess of Dark Alley was enjoyable. We appreciate the performances at the Billie Holiday Theater. More than often we can relate to the actors, and it's always a fun evening out.

I thought the performance was excellent! All actor's brought a flare and a certain vibrant to the stage. I was uncomfortable with the noise level in the lobby of the theater. Who ever was laughing, conversing and talking loud took away from my theater experience. I found myself trying to focus more on the story line due to the noise level in the lobby or behind stage. I was extremely annoyed with the extra noise going on off stage. For a moment it seemed to have affected the character 'Chris' in him delivering one of his lines. I feel that the extra conversation, laughing and joking going on off stage by staff or lobby patrons should be monitored on a stricter level while the actors are performing their art.

Another home run for the Billie Holiday Theatre!!! A story of different relationships with a spin on each flava. Brought me to the realization that I'll never be "too old," for any one -- any age (ha, ha). You've got to see it and make sure you bring some friends. The Billie Holiday Theatre has always given the Brooklyn community Broadway performances at Brooklyn prices...and in doing so helps us to be able to expose our children to the arts at an affordable price -- right in our own home backyard. Excellent performance and I highly recommend it !!! Ms. Moon: What would we do with out you. Keep on directing and producing so we can continue having somewhere safe and affordable to explore the arts.

I enjoyed the show immensely...who would believe Theo would steal the show and break down Jessica. I know living in a large Urban City like New York individuals become immune to each other feeling and very self-centered...leaving no room to grow. This show incorporated it all....keep up the good work David.
