We thoroughly enjoyed the play. The story line moved along smoothly there were no long overly drawn out scenes. I am going to recommend this play to my friends, family and co-workers. I would definitely attend another play by this Playwright. Thank you for sending me the invitation.

I enjoyed the show immensely...who would believe Theo would steal the show and break down Jessica. I know living in a large Urban City like New York individuals become immune to each other feeling and very self-centered...leaving no room to grow. This show incorporated it all....keep up the good work David.

I took a young male friend and his girlfriend to see this mind-opening play for his birthday. Losing the Light deals with issues that men don't usually feel comfortable talking about. Consequently it sparked a dialogue for my young friend to talk with me openly and honestly. This resulted in his clearing deep seated issues through taking full responsibility for his own actions and thereby opening the way for healing of his anger and resentments over the long standing parental relational conflicts with his family and himself.

I was feeling down in the dumps when I saw that another play was going to be at the Billie Holiday Theatre and I said to myself I needed to get out. I was so glad I purchased that ticket. I haven't laughed like that for a good while. The play truly gave me a spiritual uplift and also remined me of some of the trials and tribulations I've been through in my life in reference to relationships. Please keep the good plays coming!

I was just sitting at home and said to myself I was tired of just staying home alone. So I got on my computer to look to see what was going on locally. I had checked out a few places. I finally went to the Billie Holiday Theatre site and saw there was a play that would be starting at 8:00 PM. I got my ticket online at about 1:30 and I was pretty excited about just getting out of the house. When I got to the theatre and got my ticket, we were allowed to take seats at 7:30. The music that was playing before the show started was extremely soothing. I felt so relaxed. The show finally began and I must say. It was fantastic. I was pleased to see the mixed cast and the actors were all dynamic. It made me laugh and it made me cry. These actors acted just as good or better than some actors I have seen on Broadway! Everyone in the theatre was giving the cast standing ovations and yelling BRAVO! I cannot wait until the next show! My spontanaiety surely took me to a lovely evening out.

I FOUND THE PLAY,"THE DESIRE" TO BE A VERY A VERY HARD HITTING,THOUGHT PROVOKING PLAY. THE ACTORS DID A SUPERB JOB IN THEIR VARIOUS ROLES AND POINTS ABOUT PRESIDENT BUSH AND THE KATRINA VICTIMS WERE PRESENTED FAIRLY AND WITH DEAD ON PRECISION. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLAY FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. EXCUSE THE CAPITAL LETTERS AND THE BAD SPELLING,SINCE I REALLY CAN`T TYPE.

A group of friends and I went. We were so entertained we were sitting on the edge of our chairs and laughing aloud ..The play was well written, the actors and actresses were great, and I found the setting to be very nice. I plan on taking my Mother to see it and I'd highly reccomend it.

When i presented the e- ticket the receptionist said "what this" without even as much as a glance- after I had been kept waiting while she was on the telephone. Her co workers made no attempt to assist her with the patrons. I have been to the theatre once before to see Four Mrn on A Couch- mr Alexander played Jesse in it. I was so impressed I decided to return. m My daughter is visiting from California- I traveled from Yonkers. I am a native of Brooklyn. Frankly I find the rudeness embarassing and am not surprised that the theatre has never been full even though the performances are stellar! Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback. Loved the play and the whey it developed so quickly. Each actor was terrific, clear and on point regarding their role and each character. The plot has long been an issue for African Americans but adding the infidelity issue to the plot was brilliant. My only issue was that it was hard to find parking at 7:30 on Friday night.

It was amusing and enlightening to see different types of black men with issues. We all know someone who is just like each of the characters. This play includes all women from every walk of life, age, and race. Although the actors are African American Women, it doesn' tell a story of our race, it tells a story of women. Lets not forget about the men who also have the challenge of determining if older women are for them. Such powerful messages, it deserves a second look. So I am going back.
