It was very easy and trouble free using Zerve to purchase my tickets. I had good seats and it took less then 2 minutes to pick up my tickets from the box office. I would definately use this service again.

Although the play was very good, I probably will not be back to the theater to see another play because the temperature inside of the theater was unbearably hot. Members from your staff must have known before the play began that the theater was too hot. I could not really focus and enjoy the play because I spent the entire time fanning. So if the temperature in the room will not be regulated in the future, please do not contact me ever again to see anymore plays. Thanks.

I REALLY, REALLY ENJOYED THIS PLAY!!!! IT MADE ME LAUGH TILL I CRIED AND I CRIED TILL I LAUGHED!!!! I AM PLANNING ON GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN IN A WEEK OR SO.......IT WAS WELL WORTH THE 1 1/2 HOUR TRIP FROM CT. THANKS FOR A GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the show was very good. The surprise turn in events towards the end was facinating... Great job by all involved-from the actors to the stage manager. The only negative comment I have is the theater wa a little too warm.

Very entertaining an a lot of fun. Kept waiting for the formulaic boring script where a secret or climax comes out right before the Intermission. Didn't happen just an enjoyable romp w/together middle age ladies. The young man for comic relief was excellent as well!

I enjoyed my night out. I laughed because it was entertaining. It was a play advertised for teenagers and up. I would not have been comfortable seeing the play with a 13,14,15,16,17or 18 year old because of the sexual overtones. My teenager could see the play with his friends, not with Mommy. All the performers were great,but Mr. Nixon Cesar was excellent. I recommend this community play. Good Luck to the actors. Sheila Glover

Desire was witty and funny which some may find hard to accomplish with a serious subject as the Katrina catastrophe. Each actor portrayed their character with Oscar winning performances. I have only been to a few plays at the Billie Holiday Theatre and I'm always more than satisfied. I'd also like to recommend Appleby's Restaurant before or after the show. The play met and exceeded my greatest expectation. It is so relevant to the magnitude of the 'issue' in the community at large. The actors and actresses were superb in their roles. As a viewer, I felt so connected. The High Priestess of Dark Alley is a must see for all those concerned and interested in the dynamics of HIV transmission in our communiites of color. The play should take Broadway by storm!!!

They say your most hidden treasures are the most valuable - Well, this is what I felt about the High Priestess of Black Alley. I took my mother to see it on her 82nd birthday and we both thought it was wonderful. I've taken her to Broadway shows in the past and this play was just as outstanding, plus a lot less money. All the continued success to all who were involved in this show.
