I loved it

I really enjoyed the performance along with the message behind it. It shown light on a lot of problems that occur within the Black community, and the way woman are silenced by their tainted perception of love. It was a mother's day present to my mother and she was greatly impressed. This play is destined for greater platforms.

OUTSTANDING!!!!
Sun, Mar 29  4:00 PM Nursey43 Female 40-49 Local Family Without Children
The Production was delightul informative as well as entertaining. The stereo types that were brought out in this play were truly right on. It is wonderful that our community is coming together to educate our people regarding a disease that has taken the African American community by strom. The sad part about this is that it is 100% preventable.!!! I strongly recommend this play to our young people who don't believe that it could be them. I suggest it to everyone of all races to see because even though African Americans are the hardest hit, all races and ages are at risk. P.S. PLEASE TAKE OUT THE PART WHERE SWEET TAKES OF HIS SHIRT I FORGOT MY HUSBAND WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a Great Sunday Afternoon Nursey in Brooklyn

I was so delighted to see this play. I thought that it was a well written script that was so in depth and used humor to carry to message. The cast did a wonderful job. My favorite character was Sweet-Nicoye Banks, awesom actor. I hope that this play goes on to travel the road in every major city.

This play was so good - I had to see it for a second time. All the cast members were excellent in their art. This is one of Billie Holiday's best production. Kudos to Jackie Alexander who wrote and directed the play.

Temperature
Fri, Mar 13  8:00 PM bldillard Male 30-39 Unspecified Unspecified
Although the play was very good, I probably will not be back to the theater to see another play because the temperature inside of the theater was unbearably hot. Members from your staff must have known before the play began that the theater was too hot. I could not really focus and enjoy the play because I spent the entire time fanning. So if the temperature in the room will not be regulated in the future, please do not contact me ever again to see anymore plays. Thanks.

Great Play especially for Off Broadway
Fri, Mar 13  8:00 PM tmonro Female 30-39 Local Group of Friends
This was a nice play and very engaging and very intuned to whats going on in the world today. However the seating was terrible!!! This theatre really needs a makeover in regards to seating. How can people enjoy the show if they are cramped to death, not everyone is a size two and not everyone is 4'11. This needs to be addressed immediately or you will lose business

Excellent entertainment, with a thoughtful edge
Fri, Mar 13  8:00 PM ucantma Male 50-59 Local Individual
Jackie Alexander's play (which he also directed) is a comedic, but also provocative, look at hot-button issues as the light skin/dark skin dichotomy among African-Americans; the right of women to pursue their own lives on their own terms; and love, marriage, and infidelity. Alexander provides strong insight through his creation of complex characters and observant, often pungent, dialogue. His direction is also sharp, with excellent acting, particularly from Aura Vence and Nicoye Banks. This isn't exactly family entertainment, but an adult, mature look at people dealing with difficult issues. Its warmth and intelligence make it a very good evening at the theatre. NOTE: This play will end its run on March 22nd; there are a few seats left, so you'll have to hurry if you want to catch it. It's well worth rushing to the Billie Holiday Theatre to see.
