My 22 year old daughter & myself both loved this tour. Paula & Edwin were both fantastic & so much FUN! We loved the pizza & the movie clips, as well as learning about the various Brooklyn neighborhoods. Edwin & a crazy, angry driver gave us a true NYC experience that we will tell our friends & family all about for years to come! Next time we are lucky enough to be in the Big Apple, we'll definitely take another one of Tony's tours!

The most impressive part of our tour was our guide. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and everything you want a guide to be. She offered to take photos and they were good! She had answers to nearly every question, but when she didn't know something off the top of her head, she got the answer. She was wonderfully authentic, sharing her personal background, which was a delight to hear. I'd had Grimaldi's before and it never disappoints! Spumoni just wasn't my favorite, but it was good to contrast the two very different styles. LOVED the gritty details of history and the film clips perfectly timed with our visit. Obviously, our driver had done this before and was completely unaffected by traffic, police barricades and ear-plugged pedestrians! He was amazing, too. I was a bit skeptical as I rarely do tours domestically, but everything was well-organized and I'd recommend this particular tour to others. Personally, I wasn't interested in Coney Island, but others enjoyed it. I thought there was a tour that offered the Promenade & a bit of a walking tour of DUMBO, but when I booked, I couldn't find it. All-in-all, a great way to spend the day. Thank you!

I'm an immigrant to this country but my husband is not. This trip was part of his birthday gift since he's a pizza lover. He enjoyed the tour as we as I did. We would definitely do it again. So many gems right here in New York. No one should think of going elsewhere. Although I'm not a pizza lover I enjoyed the ones I ate, especially the one in Bayridge. The tour guide was very accommodating and funny, also knowledgable. The places we saw were the right picks if you're a movie fan. Wow! How fantastic. We stayed in Coney Island and took in the sun before going home. The only thing I would change is the bus. My husband wanted a tan. So an open bus would have done him great. It was cold and seeing that the weather is so predictable it felt like Spring. But all together it was a wonderful tour. We enjoyed ourselves. I can't wait to take my sister in law when she comes to New York. Finally the other groups were very friendly, mostly Aussies but wow, very friendly.

I did the tour with my husband and 2 kids (8 and 11 years old). We had a great time. Paula is an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable and very engaging. We learned a lot of interesting facts about Brooklyn and ate some great pizza. We would definitely recommend it and would be interested in doing more tours with this company next time we visit NYC.

Thorough tour of Brooklyn

If you have never been to Brooklyn, take this thorough tour. Paula, a Brooklyn native (tour guide), is down to earth, knowledgeable. She's been doing these tours about 4 years. Let's not forget the unsung hero - the terrific driver who had to maneuver the big bus through tight streets. I liked the "neighborhood" tour better because the bus was smaller - 15/20 people - more personal; not 50 jammed onto a tremendous bus like cattle. The tour guide should have more control over the group - have the group sit in the same seats. The tourists had no regard for personal property - they sat in different seats each time they got back on. Quiet bus most of the time - no camaraderie, bored kids. Most of Paula's stories though out the tour went over the out of state tourists' heads. She went on tangents sometimes - just stick to the facts. We went to 2 pizza places - Gramaldi's - good! but..could use renovations. Ripped cushions on the seats. Spumoni's - ugh! Mushy, uncooked. Family place. stale water, rickety tables, busboy with baggy pants. We were only there 20 minutes. Not enough time to try the spumoni that Paula said we must try. Saw Brooklyn Bridge Park, unique house in Bay Ridge, We walked in Coney Island only 20 minutes.
