| Imagine you call your buddy Joe from Brooklyn whom you haven't seen in a while. "Hey Joe, I will be in the area, do you wanna hang out?" Joe says: "Would love to see you, let me pick up up in the city and we'll head over to Brooklyn and I'll show you around my neighborhood. We'll grab some grub at a couple of places only the locals know about".
This is basically what you're getting when you go on this tour with Tony. He knows Brooklyn like the palm of his hand, has a firm knowledge of Brooklyn's history, its places worth seeing and what the locals are up to. He will take you on a amazing tour through the area where he's from. Tony is witty, authentic (the tattoos will attest to that) and simply a nice, personable guy. His business he's most passionate about.
So many movies have been filmed on the streets of Brooklyn. Tony will be sure to point them out while running the scene of the flick on the screens inside the bus.
One more thing, you won't leave hungry!
We'll be back to New York next year and will take one of the other tours Tony offers. |

| Tony grew up in Brooklyn and loves his hometown, and he shares it with exuberance. He uses video clips from movies shot in Brooklyn and history of the various areas of the borough. It was a fine way to spend a day... I was worried in advance that we might feel it was wasted time when it was over, as one often feels about little tours like this, but much to the contrary, Tony made it a great day! |

| There's nothing quite like it, and this tour gives you the absolute best of each style. The world-famous thin crust from Grimaldi's, and the sweet, robust flavor of L&B's Sicilian. This tour proved to me me what I sorely miss when it comes to pizza and living in Boston. There is nothing here that compares.
The tour itself was great, the tour guide was very interesting and informative, and the movie clips were an excellent touch. I guess I never realized just how big and diverse Brooklyn really is. I'd highly recommend this service to anyone, defintely worth taking the trip across the bridge from Manhattan for an afternoon.
I'd definitely consider taking the mobster tour from this same company as well, looking forward to it! |

| I really enjoyed this tour. I used to go to Spumoni Gardens as a child with my father.. Revisiting it 30+ years later was a treat. Tony the tour guide was great. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You could feel the love he had for Brooklyn as he led you on the tour. Even though I was born in Brooklyn and lived there for 22 years, there were many interesting facts I didn't know. The pizza was delicious and well worth the trip. I would strongly recommend this experience. |

| My wife and I truly enjoyed this trip off of Manhattan into Brooklyn. Tony led our tour, and has the affection for Brooklyn that one can only get if one has grown up there. For example, we passed the theater where Tony snuck into his first R rated movie, and even though the theater is now closed, you could tell it was a special place for Tony. That spirit premeated the tour.
The pizzas places were great, but more than the food, we enjoyed the atmosphere of the places. The first place was more urban, with lots of young folks out on a beautiful Saturday. The second place was in a neighborhood, with families with with kids in little league uniforms getting a treat after a game. The two diverse stops brought Brooklyn alive, causing it to become more than a movie set. The couple on the tour who live in Brooklyn said that where they live (Brooklyn Botanical Gardens area), they never see the families out, and that was what they enjoyed. They also said that they had planned to cut out early and take the subway back to their home if they didn't like the tour, but stayed for the entire tour because Tony told them so many interesting stories and facts. In short, even the locals highly recommended the tour. |

| This experience was amazing. The tour was interesting, exciting and entertaining. Each of the stops was enjoyable and worthwhile. Both locations have great food and there was plenty to eat. I was worried that maybe we would get one slice each, but the pizza just kept on coming to the table! Everyone walked away full!
Grimaldis always has a line, they had tables reserved for us!
As everyone has stated, Paula was great and did an amazing job!
Dont even think twice, explore Brooklyn and book this tour! |

| We are local New Yorkers who were interested in doing something "different" for the weekend. This trip got us out of the house for a great 5 hours, touring parts of Brooklyn that we had never, or rarely, been to, and enjoying the best pizza of NY without waiting in line! It was fun, providing a nice, relaxed and casual atmosphere, while offering some interesting tidbits of knowledge.
If you are thinking of checking out Grimaldi's on a stay in NY, then why not do this - it'll save you a line and you'll see more and eat more great pizza than you had planned on!
A couple of things to know: we were drawn to this tour from an article that focused primarily on the main tour guide - a quintessential Italian Brooklynite. However, as the tours have since expanded, there are now more guides - all Brooklynites I believe, but know that they may not be quintessential personality we had originally expected from the article.
Also, don't go if you are expecting to learn deep Brooklyn history, The tour provides great interesting facts and cocktail trivia, but not very much real or notable history.
We had a GREAT time nonetheless and do recommend the trip to anyone who wants to try a "different sort of tour!" |

| We easily located the tour coach, and found the guide, Paula, to be enthusiastic and informative. The first stop, Grimaldi's, was excellent and the pizza was extremely good. I have to say, that the second venue was, in our opinion (and several of the guests we travelled with) not so good. Whilst the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was certainly not outstanding, which could be evidenced by the amount of 'leftovers' (There were no 'leftovers' at Grimaldi's!!!!!!)
As a pizza fan from the UK, I would have preferred a Domino's pizza, to that of the second venue......
This being said, whilst the food is important, it is not the whole, and taking everything into account, I would certainly recommend the tour, although it could prove expensive for a large family!
I would have enjoyed a longer visit to Coney Island, perhaps with a 'Nathan's dog', or a stop off in Brighton Beach in Little Odessa, for a 'mooch' around the shops. |
