| Our tour was headed up by Paula, Tony's cousin. She is very energetic and full of history and fun movie facts . Not bad on the eyes for you fellas, either. ;) Everything she said about the pizza proved to be true - melts in your mouth - seriously the BEST! We had a great time and really enjoyed our first slice of Brooklyn. We would recommend the tour to NY natives and tourists alike! |

| Our tour guide (Paula) was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about Brookline making it a very entertaining day. The pizza was delicious too! We would highly recommend the tour to all those visiting New York City. |

| Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! My 2 friends and I had a fantastic day on the "A Slice of Brooklyn" tour. Our tour guide Paula was fabulous and kept everyone entertained for the whole day. The pizzas at Grimaldis with their simple toppings were divine and I would happily join the queue to taste them again!! Brooklyn was fascinating to hear about and to see and I really got a kick out of Coney Island. I just hope some money gets put into restoring such an iconic place and they bring back the face of Coney Island!!! I would recommend this tour to everyone!!! |

| Great introduction to the borough from attitude and history to local customs and a slice (many slices, actually) with a dynamic guide. |

| I read about the tour in Fromer's guide, but was categorised immediately as having heard about the tour on a travel show. Did not bode well.
The tour was not about pizza but about Brooklyn. There were statements about the pizza being the best in the world. A quick trip to Italy will prove otherwise. The host was informative and there was a real push to show Brooklyn. Nice enough but this was a pizza tour and there were only two pizza places to experience the "pies".
The tour was typical of the perception that America has the best - best food (see the rest of the world and reality will sink in), best bridge (again see the rest of world).
So be weary of the tendency in a typical American way to assume that the pizza's in Brooklyn are the best and that Brooklyn is the best borough and have a laugh at the plastic palm tree sitting all alone on Coney Island beach. |

| This was a great tour. Lots of information was provided and we were driven around all the sights of Brooklyn. Tony was very funny and had a story to tell of everywhere we went. You get to see a lot of the brooklyn you have heard of over the years including Coney Island, Brooklyn suburbs, Brooklyn bridge and the EL. I would recommend it to people of any age. |

| i highly recommend this tour to any one who wants to experience the heart of new york and it's rich and diverse cultures. Our tour guide was an adorable Brookllynite, as she referred herself to be, besides a "pizza/bagel" (jewish and italian). having grown up in the city, she was full of wonderful historical facts and personal stories of her experiences, which was quite charming.
The Pizza, or Pie, as referred to by the locals, was sinfully delicious. we also had the opportunity to not only have a taste, but extra slices. both sites were very generous with the pizza. amazing! i can't ever eat pizza again other than in NY and Brooklyn.
i highly recommend this tour, as i plan on returning to NY and would happily revisit the Brooklyn pizza tour, with Paola, of course, who has a spark and real love for her town. |
