My husband and I went on the Taste of Brooklyn Tour and were so thrilled that we would have done it again if we had been in New York longer! Tony was great! He's personable and really knows his Brooklyn facts. He gives lots of background and "tells it like it is" on every aspect of Brooklyn. The pizza stops were great because this was where we got to talk to the other people on the bus. It was great to eat the pizza and take some time to relax off the bus. Both pizza restaurants were wonderful, but my favorite was the second stop. I particularly love the fact that Tony had movie scenes synced with exactly where we were on the tour. It was magical to see something on the screen and also be on the same street! The tour also took us to Coney Island. What an added thrill! I've only seen Nathan's Hotdogs when I watch the contest on July 4th. It was great to be there in person and experience the Coney Island Boardwalk! can't say enough about this tour. If you only have one day to take a tour, use your time wisely and take this Taste of Brooklyn tour. It's well worth the time and money! |

This was my first trip to the US, and I started in New York, on my own. This tour was the only thing I'd booked before heading there, and was the very first thing I did on day one of my stay.
I was a bit apprehensive about what I'd signed up for, but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect introduction to NYC in general, and Brooklyn in particular, I think everyone taking part warmed to Tony's friendliness and humour throughout. It certainly helped me ease into my stay in Manhattan, which was a bit daunting before I went on the tour. There were a great group of people taking the tour, but its hard to imagine Tony not getting everybody talking and having fun, even with the sternest of groups.
The excellent (and very filling) pizza to be had in Brooklyn was really an added bonus of the tour, Tony's right - there's some excellent pizza to be had, and he's very passionate about it!
There's no doubt that I'd recommend this tour to anyone (and I will be), I think if I lived in NYC I'd be tempted to go on it regularly just to soak up the great stories and pizza! Those four and half hours just flew by, I almost didn't want to get off the bus when it was all over.
A memorable day indeed. |

I would highly recommend this trip, especially if you haven't been to Brooklyn. You will see where some famous movies have been filmed (Saturday Night Fever, Goodfellas, The French Connection, etc.). Tony has an excellent personality, is easy to talk with and is very knowledgeable of Brooklyn. We had a lot of laughs, good pizza and good sites a long the way. I'm anxious to see what he puts together for the 'Mob' tour, especially, the VIP tour.
There is more to this tour than pizza (which is good...by the way) |

We had great seats to see the Yankees and great seats at Wicked, but the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the entire trip for all eight of us was A Slice of Brooklyn. Tony was fun, informative, professional! The pizza was awesome. We argued into the next day as to which was the best! The movie clips were perfectly timed so it was really cool to see the place just as you were seeing it in the movie. I really can't say enough-we all agreed that the Brooklyn part of the trip was the most fun. For me, riding the Cyclone just topped it off-I've always wanted to do that. I'd definitely do tours with Tony again. He really knows his history and his hometown, so if you want more than just fluff stuff, take this tour. I think he does Christmas ones and has a new Brooklyn tour coming up. I highly recommend them to you! |

Tony..you are amazing. This tour was by far the best I have ever gone on. The Pizza was to die for, and the whole experince was great from beginning to end. Loved the ease with which Tony spoke, and his familiarity and knowledge of Brooklyn. We plan on returning to take another tour next year. As the popularity of the tour is growing quickly I hope that Tony remains the only guide. Nobody could do it like he does it! By the way..the frozen hot chocolate was heavenly! This tour will keep us Canadians drooling and dreaming of good pizza for months. |

Tony, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. The pizza was also excellent. At 4.5 hours, I felt the tour was well worth the expense and great for those who want to see more of NYC than just the typical tourist spots in Manhattan. |

The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour was one of the highlights of my visit to the Big Apple. A fun tour led by a passionate guide and some of the best pizza served anywhere with several stops including Coney Island. I am telling all of my friends about the tour and would definately do it again. |
