Great Tour

This tour was well worth our time. The pizza was fantastic, the stops made along the way were great to showcase Brooklyn's highlights. Most importantly, Tony (tour director) was fantastic (very knowledgeable of facts, names, and dates) and very well organized and enthusiastic about his presentation. Lots of fun!

Tony is the 'best.' The film shorts and music are a real plus. It's a sightseeing extravaganza. Maryann

JIm and I took one of the first tours with Tony several years ago.....We couldn't finish the tour at that time because of flight plans........We brought friends back to nyc with one of the highlights to finish the experience......Much to our delight, it was bigger and better!!!! Tony is an entertainer as well as an accomplished speaker....an added touch was the introduction of Uncle Louie who made everyone feel right at home in Brooklyn......the weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the pictures captured our experinces well.......Can't wait to return with others to show them Brooklyn through Tony's Slice of Brooklyn Tour!!!!!!!..........Peggy Feltham

Went to parts of Brooklyn I've never been to, although I was born in Brooklyn! Good fun, great pizza, and a wonderful tour guide. Highly recommended!

Tony, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. The pizza was also excellent. At 4.5 hours, I felt the tour was well worth the expense and great for those who want to see more of NYC than just the typical tourist spots in Manhattan.

We 3 and one half Italians from RI were delighted with the whole experience. The coach bus, the itinerary, the pizza and especially our very personable and knowlegable guide Tony were AAA first class! (We love our shirts too) We can't wait to book the "wise guys" tour! If possible, please have Tony contact me about tour tickets for our large Gala held in November. Ask him to email Barbara at bducharme@lifespan.org. I will spread the word to 800 RI participants at our Fantasy Ball Fundraiser Gala on November 1, 2008. Thanks for a most enjoyable day- Barbara

July 9, 2008 ...Tony's tour showed Brooklyn from the inside. The sights, sounds, smells, and development of Brooklyn were experienced in a way that allows a tourist to gain an understanding of this borrough in a unique way. Tony's passion as our guide was clearly evident and our pizza stops were organized and casual. It was by far the best tour I have ever attended. I enjoyed every minute of it.

All that I expected and so much more

After seeing A Slice of Brooklyn Piazza Tour on the Today Show I immediately knew I wanted to do it. . My family was wary but I persisted and happily recieved it as a birthday gift. . It was all I expected it to be and more. Tony was the star of the tour for without his bountiful knowledge and warm personality the tour wouldn't have been so special. The pizzas were amazing especially Grimaldi's but don't count out L&B Spumoni Gardens. The sauce was to die for and try the spumoni for it is nothing like the packaged kind you get in the supermarket.Oh and how could I forget the sites of Brooklyn. Who gets to go under the Brooklyn Bridge, walk the historic Coney Island Boardwalk, and get the local gossip and lore. Tony does Brooklyn with humor and class and shows his love of his bourrough. Thank you Tony for making this tour one of the highlights of my vacation in NYC. Go Brooklyn!

Fantastic tour and pizza

Tony is great. The tour is a very good mix of sights, history, and food! We really enjoyed the movie clips of places we were visiting. The pizza was great. We lived in Italy just outside of Naples for three years so we were wondering if the pizza could live up to the hype and it did. The pizza from Grimaldi's was as close to true Neapolitan pizza as I think you get can get in the US given the difference in ingredients. Normally we dislike Sicilian thick crust pizza, but the pizza from L&B's was very good. My husband bought chocolate spumoni and loved it. I got lemon ice which was terrific because unlike a lot of lemon ices it was not overly sweet and/or syrupy.
