A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

We really enjoyed our tour. Tour guide Tony was excellent. We never knew there were so many wonderful things to do and see in Brooklyn. We're itching to go back and explore some more on our own. Oh yeah, the pizza was great too!

Toni is without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable individuals I've ever met with regards to the history of Brooklyn and pizza. The pizza, too, was absolutely fantastic. All in all a wonderful experience...I recommend it without reservation.

My husband and I have been to Manhattan many times, but had never ventured to Brooklyn. We stayed in Manhattan due to the stereotypes that exist about Brooklyn, we did not know what parts of Brooklyn were safe or even the best way to get there or which subway to take. This tour begins in Manhattan, so the concern of transportation is taken off of the table. This tour is hosted by the owners and these two men love their home town and want to share all of the good aspects of beautiful Brooklyn. Tony was our guide and his enthusiasm made the trip even better than we could have expected. The view from Brooklyn of the Manhattan skyline with the Brooklyn Bridge is breath taking. We were able to get some great pictures with beautiful views. We learned so many things about Brooklyn, pizza, Coney Island, the area of Dumbo, the 3 bridges, movies that were filmed there, the list goes on and on. The pizza was delicious, but what was even better was learning the history of each family owned business and where it all began. After this experience, we will definitely visit Brooklyn again in the future. We made notes of the restaurants and sites that we plan on visiting when we come back to NYC. We never take the time to write a review, but feel that this tour deserves it. Thanks for opening our eyes to beautiful, fun Brooklyn!

My husband is a pizzaholic. When the Today Show ran a segment about Tony and his Brooklyn Pizza tour I decided that would be a great Christmas present for my husband. He was a little skeptical about going on the tour but was very happy he went. Not only was the pizza great, the tour was great also. Tony includes a little bit of everything on this Brooklyn tour: humor, history, trivia, film strips, neighborhoods, parks as well as pizza. We had a wonderful day and highly recommend this tour and not just for pizza lovers. We can't wait until he puts together another tour of Brooklyn so we can see more of the NY Borough.

We always visit Manhattan but never got a chance to see Brooklyn. With the "A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour", we got a tour of Brooklyn and got to eat some great pizza at the same time. The best part was listening to Tony talk about his home town of Brooklyn. Tony showed great pride in growing up in Brooklyn but also made you laugh at some of the traits of the locals. We would recommend this tour and look forward to taking the Christmas Tour with Tony in the future.

Extremely good tour guide who covers a bit of everything. Well worth every cent! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to all.

I'm originally from Brooklyn, but have been living in Wisconsin for over 30 years. I took this tour with my wife and my two children, ages 18 and 21. Even though I'm not much of a tour person, I figured I'd enjoy seeing sights I'd hadn't seen in a long time. I wasn't sure about my wife and kids, since they're not from Brooklyn. Well, all of us had a wonderful time. We were in NYC for 4 days and did some fun stuff, but I think this tour was the highlight for all of us. Tony is just a terrific guide. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and very funny. As another reviewer wrote, he's passionate, engaging, and informative. You can tell this tour is his baby, and he has put his heart into it. Of course, the pizza was truly incredible, a real experience. But the tour is not just about the food. It's also about history, movies, music, mobsters, architecture, politics, neighborhoods, and so much more. We absolutely loved it. If Tony offers another tour in the future (he mentioned a mobsters tour and a neighborhoods tour), we want in. We would even go on this a second time, it's that good. And thanks to Danny, our driver. He did an excellent job.

Tony gave an amazing tour of Brooklyn, combining Brooklyn's role in history, the arts, sports and, of course pizza! Among the most creative aspects of the tour was Tony's use of the DVD to show movie segments each of which took place in the exact spot we were at the moment the segment was shown. Clearly, the creation of this tour was a labor of love with incredible attention to detail. My husband was skeptical about the tour as he feared it would be just about pizza, in the end he enjoyed it immensely. We recommend renaming the tour - something like "Brooklyn with a slice...
