Lots of fun

My daughter and son-in-law recently moved to Brooklyn and, while visiting from California, I thought it would be a good way to get to know Brooklyn and have a lot of fun as well. My son-in-law reluctantly came along to keep me company. We learned a lot about all of Brooklyn except near where they live, but it was great, the pizza was great, Tony was great and we are looking forward to the Wiseguys tour!!!

Awesome Brooklyn Pizza Tour

We really enjoyed the pizza tour and history of Brooklyn. Tony was a great guide - has perfect personality for what he does. My hope is that the tours never get so large that Tony "farms out" the tour duties, because HE is the one that makes it so successful!

Excellent pizza and tour of Brooklyn

I had a very good time on this tour. I love pizza and really wanted to try authentic pizza. I even thought about having pizza today (after I got home) and it just didn't appeal to me since sampling the pizza in Brooklyn. Tony is a great host and tour guide. He is from the area and that definitely is seen as you go on the tour with him. I would definitely take this tour again and am excited to hear about the new tours he has coming out too (especially the Christmas lights tour). I love New York and Brooklyn is just another portion I have seen and love now too. BE sure to go on this tour - my tour was actually quite the opposite of what I expected because most of the people on my tour were actually from the area. So, that in itself, was interesting because I was about to hear about things these people did when they were kids and were just checking it out now as they had gotten older (and they were still pretty much in the area, but just taking the tour). Tony is great and you will definitely have a great time on this tour!

More than a slice... It's the whole pie!!

My husband and I very recently took the "A Slice of Brooklyn" tour. We had seen it on the Today Show, and decided it might be a fun thing to do as a couple. It wasn't just a fun thing to do as a couple, it is something we would recommend to anyone at any time. The sights were great, the history was interesting, and the food was AMAZING (especially at L&B Spumoni Gardens). Our tour guide, Tony, knew things about Brooklyn that were surprising, and he presented the information with ease and humor. On the way home, my husband and I actually decided it would be worth doing all over again.

What a day! I learned so much about Brooklyn as I had never been there. My husband, who is from New York City, also thoroughly enjoyed the tour as Tony made it so interesting and entertaining. The pizza and spumoni were..... AMAZING!!!!! M.MCKENNA

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. It was extremely well put together. We loved the mix of history, movie clips, current events, and, of course, pizza! So much more than your typical tour.

A Toast To Tony!

When our tour was finished we stopped for a drink and had a "Toast to Tony". The tour was terrific - lots of fun, great info, great food, well paced and a wonderful way to see the highlights of Brooklyn. Tony went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable, happy and having a great time (he even entertained a young child so the parents could enjoy their pizza!!). A good choice when in New York City!!

Taste of Brooklyn Tour was phenomenal

My husband and I went on the Taste of Brooklyn Tour and were so thrilled that we would have done it again if we had been in New York longer! Tony was great! He's personable and really knows his Brooklyn facts. He gives lots of background and "tells it like it is" on every aspect of Brooklyn. The pizza stops were great because this was where we got to talk to the other people on the bus. It was great to eat the pizza and take some time to relax off the bus. Both pizza restaurants were wonderful, but my favorite was the second stop. I particularly love the fact that Tony had movie scenes synced with exactly where we were on the tour. It was magical to see something on the screen and also be on the same street! The tour also took us to Coney Island. What an added thrill! I've only seen Nathan's Hotdogs when I watch the contest on July 4th. It was great to be there in person and experience the Coney Island Boardwalk! can't say enough about this tour. If you only have one day to take a tour, use your time wisely and take this Taste of Brooklyn tour. It's well worth the time and money!

BEST PART OF OUR WHOLE TRIP

We had great seats to see the Yankees and great seats at Wicked, but the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the entire trip for all eight of us was A Slice of Brooklyn. Tony was fun, informative, professional! The pizza was awesome. We argued into the next day as to which was the best! The movie clips were perfectly timed so it was really cool to see the place just as you were seeing it in the movie. I really can't say enough-we all agreed that the Brooklyn part of the trip was the most fun. For me, riding the Cyclone just topped it off-I've always wanted to do that. I'd definitely do tours with Tony again. He really knows his history and his hometown, so if you want more than just fluff stuff, take this tour. I think he does Christmas ones and has a new Brooklyn tour coming up. I highly recommend them to you!

Tony..you are amazing. This tour was by far the best I have ever gone on. The Pizza was to die for, and the whole experince was great from beginning to end. Loved the ease with which Tony spoke, and his familiarity and knowledge of Brooklyn. We plan on returning to take another tour next year. As the popularity of the tour is growing quickly I hope that Tony remains the only guide. Nobody could do it like he does it! By the way..the frozen hot chocolate was heavenly! This tour will keep us Canadians drooling and dreaming of good pizza for months.
