This is the best city tour we have ever had. The tour Guide (and creator) developed a very entertaining and educating tour of Brooklyn. He used video clips from well known movies shot in Brooklyn in a very clever and timely way that captured our attention. The detailes of the tour and the commentary were well researched and delivered in a professional way that exceeded our expectation. We give it a 10.
This is a great tour for any one visiting New York to get a fresh perspective about Brooklyn and its history.
Our daughter who lives in Brooklyn recommended the tour and joined us. She enjoyed it and learned new information that she enjoyed.
The pizza stops where great and very well planned. We enjoyed the pizza and the whole atmosphere.
This tour provides the highest customer satisfaction and is worth the time and price. |

My husband, 25 year old daughter and myself went on this tour on Labor Day. We have done several other food tours in Manhatten, but this was the BEST of NYC!!! Tony is knowledgable about, not only pizza, but his hometown of Brooklyn and loves to share it. We plan to do his other tours of Brooklyn in the future. Thanks, Tony & Pete, for a great day!!! Linda & family from Chicago. |

This was one of the best organized and entertaining tours we have been on, ever. The bus was waiting for us at the appointed time and location. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the districts we visited and interspersed personal anecdotes with facts about the districts we visited which made the tour all the more interesting. The movie clips shown on the bus' video screens added to significance of the districts we visited. The tour absolutely highlighted the best side of Brooklyn
The Pizzas were delicious and the time (4.5 hours) went by quickly and very enjoyably.
There was a nice mix or driving/touring, walking and eating. |

First, let me say that Grimaldi's pizza is fantastic. We didn't care for the Sicilian style as much, but if you like that type of pizza I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Essentially, Grimaldi's is thin crust and Sicilian is a softer, thicker dough. Paula is a great tour guide. She is extremely enthusiastic about her job, and it shows.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because there isn't much to see in Brooklyn. A few movie shots, the bridge, some big houses (no bigger than what you've seen before), a few parks, etc. Nothing mind-blowing. The best part for me was the walk down the boardwalk at Coney Island. I wish we could have spent most of our time there, and maybe take a ride or two.
Kids will probably be bored by most of the sites, and love the pizza.
Again, for us the pizza and Paula were the highlights. Everything else I probably won't be back to visit (with the exception of Coney Island). |

Tony does a great job of interacting with the group and treats you like long lost buddies coming by the neighborhood for the first time. His enthusiasm for Brooklyn and its history makes the whole thing come alive. The pizza is great, but unfortunately you have to take the plainest pie--if you are looking for YOUR pizza, you're just gonna have to take a trip to Brooklyn yourself. We had two kids with us and it was a highlight of our New York vacation. Fuggedabout it...enjoy the pies! |

Loved the tour of Brooklyn and good "back story" of the borough. Loved Paula - she was great!! Pizza was great too - my son thought Grimaldi's was the best pizza he'd ever had!! Thanks for a great tour! |

We are a family of five (3 teens) from the UK and cannot praise this tour enough - we learnt so much and all in an informal way with great company. Suited us hugely and the Pizza, what can we say, bypassing the line at Grimaldis was a pure pleasure. How Sweet it is! This tour has been very professionally put together and includes a great running commentary together with vid clips of the Brooklyn movie scenes that are 'in time' with the drive - superb! I never knew that Brooklyn was home to so much Hollywood.
And such contrast, from Dumbo (Down under the Manhatten Bridge Overpass) very trendy, to Brooklyn Bridge Park, to Grimaldis to L&B's and then to Bay Ridge and finally to Coney Board Walk.
Wow and Golly sums this up in UK speak and I advise, if you are reading my review to book it - you will not be disappointed.
Do not 'Fuhgettaboutit'! |

Our tour leader, Paula, was informed, enthusiastic, thoughtful, involved and was able to make information interesting....there was never a dull moment. Also, the way the company coordinated videos re movie street scenes with actual location of van was seamless.
Definitely for those interested in Brooklyn and the pizza ain't bad either! |
