Tony Muia’s “A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour” is entertaining, informative, and very cleverly organized. Scenes from famous movie locations are shown on screen at the exact moment one sees them live. What synchronization! Tony has boundless energy and continually talks throughout the tour about Brooklyn’s history. All his information is fascinating, never boring, and he gets the undivided attention of his tour group. He is full of warmth and personality -- a wonderful host and spokesperson for Brooklyn. Having been born and raised in one of the five NYC boroughs, I enjoyed seeing all those sections of Brooklyn that I had heard so much about but had never seen. In addition, one gets to eat at two famous pizzerias. What fun! On a scale of one to ten, I rate this tour a ten. I can’t wait for Tony’s next tour.

This tour gives a good introduction to anyone who is not familiar with Brooklyn by covering different areas within the borough. Tony's comments are both enjoyable and informative and the video clips shown on the bus is a bonus. Pizza tasting is of course the highlight of the tour, and having two different kinds of pizza allows for tasty comparison. I only wish two tastings were more spaced apart time-wise. But all in all, a very enjoyable outing.

Despite living in Brooklyn I found this tour really informative and it was a great way to go places I've always known about but never got a chance to visit, like the Brooklyn Bridge park and Grimaldi's. I went because I had family visiting who wanted to try some of the reknowned pizza places in Brooklyn and have a good look around and we weren't disappointed. Both pizza places were amazing, and just being able to shoot to the head of the long line at Grimaldi's was worth the price of the tour. We definetly didn't go hungry. There were ample picture momemnts along the tour too, with wonderful views of the bridges and the Manhattan skyline and Coney Island. The guide kept up a lively narration filled with personal, historical, and pop-culture stories. The video clips of films shot in Brooklyn shown as we passed those locations was a great touch. This tour has it all, info, food, ambience, and lots of fun. I reccommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Brooklyn better, including people from other boroughs as well as out-of-towners. I look forward to more tours by this provider, maybe one that's all movie sites?

i went on this tour with my husband and my fourteen year old son and all three of us enjoyed it very much. We are all big movie buffs so seeing all the locations where movies were filmed was very interesting. Tony, our tour guide had a great personality and kept the tour very upbeat and funny. Last but not least the pizza was delicious, I was born and raised in the Bronx so I know good pizza. All in all I would highly recommend this tour.

In spite of taking this tour on a day that did not stop raining, Tony brought sunshine to all of us who were on his tour July 23. I do live in NYC and wanted to take the tour because I really don't know Brooklyn. I was very glad I did. The tour and the pizza were the best and I would highly recommend this to both locals and tourists alike.

I took this tour with my Mom, and both of us are New York natives. We had heard about it some time back and went in not knowing what to expect. Let me tell you, we were absolutely floored! This is obviously one of the best things to do in New York, and this is from someone who's lived here all my life. The star of the tour is Tony, a native Brooklynite who loves his city and his borough fiercely, and is kind, charming, hilarious, knowledgeable, accomodating--everything a guide should be! The pizza was the best I've had in my life, and even my Mother (who's biased towards pizza from The Bronx) agreed it was quite special. The group on my tour was loads of fun, and everyone got along nicely. It felt more like an outing with old friends than anything else. For people coming into the city and figuring out what to do, I can't think of a better thing. I agree with Tony that it's a shame people would leave NY without experiencing all the city has to offer. There's more to see than just the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty! Take Tony's pizza tour if you want to see gems around Brooklyn and have a truly unforgettable experience! You can't miss with this tour! Bravo, Tony, and all the best to you! I'll probably be back to take another tour soon! - Joe from Queens
