Wow, What a Tour!

I have taken part in a number of tours. By far, A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour is one of my favorites. I went for my husband's birthday with friends and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Our tour guide, Tony, combined Brooklyn street smarts with historical facts and movie clips to deliver a tour that is both funny and informative. The tour really inspires you to want to learn all there is to know about Brooklyn. Too boot, L&B Spumoni Gardens serves the best Sicilian slice of pizza I've ever eaten! Thanks for a great time!

I am not one to go on tours nor do I normally like them. However, this is great. I have been to NYC several times with family and have done the usual tourist stuff. My 15 year old son and I went on the tour and both of us thought it was the best thing we did in Nyc this time. highly reccomended

Great Day!

We had a great time on this tour. It was a beautiful day and Tony was a great host, very funny and lively, and he loves Brooklyn and showing it to guests. He was very genuine about wanting everyone to have a good time. Views of Manhattan from photo stops were incredible and Tony took individual pictures for everyone who wanted one. Oh, and the pizza--very different styles and both very, very good (Jon's Pizzaria was still our favorite though). We loved seeing all the movie clips and the actual film locations, especially for Saturday Night Fever, a favorite. We felt the tour was worth every penny and we probably would not have visited Brooklyn otherwise. Loved the tour, loved the pizza, loved Tony's enthusiasm. Tony really made the day; great time and lots of fun!

My wife and I cannot recommend this tour too strongly. We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Paula, is a Brooklyn resident and her deep knowledge, as well as her pride in the area, really made the tour both informative and a lot of fun. Seeing clips from popular movies we all know, while looking at the actual locations where the filming took place, was a unique experience. Eating pizza at the top locations around Brooklyn simply speaks for itself. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun, New York experience. If any of our friends want to go on the tour, we would gladly do it again. On a scale of 1 to 10, A Slice of Brooklyn is an 11! You should do this! Michael

We loved this tour. Initially, we thought 4 and 1/2 hours would be a little on the long side for something like this, but the time flew by. We loved learning about Brooklyn from an insiders point of view. The tour had a real "family owned" feel, which was great. All the people associated with the tour were nice to a fault and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!!

We were recently in New York with my parents who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. My Dad loves pizza, so we thought we would try the Slice of Brooklyn tour...it was great!!! The food was fabulous and our guide, Paula, was very fun and informative. The tour not only satisfied our appetite, but also our curiousity about Brooklyn (my husband and I might consider staying in Brooklyn instead of Mannhattan next time:)

Imagine you call your buddy Joe from Brooklyn whom you haven't seen in a while. "Hey Joe, I will be in the area, do you wanna hang out?" Joe says: "Would love to see you, let me pick up up in the city and we'll head over to Brooklyn and I'll show you around my neighborhood. We'll grab some grub at a couple of places only the locals know about". This is basically what you're getting when you go on this tour with Tony. He knows Brooklyn like the palm of his hand, has a firm knowledge of Brooklyn's history, its places worth seeing and what the locals are up to. He will take you on a amazing tour through the area where he's from. Tony is witty, authentic (the tattoos will attest to that) and simply a nice, personable guy. His business he's most passionate about. So many movies have been filmed on the streets of Brooklyn. Tony will be sure to point them out while running the scene of the flick on the screens inside the bus. One more thing, you won't leave hungry! We'll be back to New York next year and will take one of the other tours Tony offers.
