Tony......WHAT A GENTLEMAN!

My sister, her granddaugher, and I came to Manhattan for three days to celebrate my niece's 16th birthday. We took in a Broadway show, a carriage ride through Central Park, shopping, and the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour that we just happened to see featured on the Today Show. We all absolutely LOVED the tour, and we're still talking about it long after we've returned. Tony not only loves his city, but you can tell just how much he enjoys the people who take his tour. He's fun and engaging and truly cares about the happiness of his customers. After the tour was over, and everyone went on their way, including the bus, we three women from Kansas City were having trouble hailing a taxi back to our hotel. We went from one corner to another with no luck in sight. All of a sudden, Tony noticed us and ran across the street to see what the problem was. He stayed with us, hailed a taxi, and didn't leave our side until we were safely on our way. WHAT A GENTLEMAN! Thanks Tony! It's the added touches that speak volumes about the man and his business.

everything was good on this tour. We loved Tony. He has great knowledge and an even better sence of humor. The excerpts of the movies while driving thru the areas where they were filmed gave a phenomenal three demensional feel to the tour.

I've just returned from a four day trip to New York and the highlight of my stay was the Slice of Pizza Tour of Brooklyn. Our tour guide was so entertaining and the experience so much fun that the four and a half hour tour just flew by. His monalogue filled with interesting tid bits, personal antedotes as well as humour brought Brooklyn to life in a very real way ! Of note were the film clips showing movies like Saturday Night Fever which actually rolled as we drove down the very streets were the scenes were filmed. It was a touch of show biz at it's best. As for the pizza...well ...also unforgettable.

We were not able to take the tour as we had to cancel the vacation due to the fact that my husband was hospitalized as an emergency patient for a few days. We gave the tickets to my brother-in-law who lives in New York and he inturn gave them to a friend of his, as he was unable to attend the tour. We certainly hope the whoever was there surely enjoyed it as it sounds like a wonderful tour. I hope that we will be able to take your tour in the future.

I have always heard so many references to Brooklyn on television and in movies, and now I know why. Brooklyn is where it is at! This tour is so fascinating and so much fun! Tony makes you feel as if you have known him forever with his personal side notes and very informative tour of Brooklyn, which includes movie clips that coincide with the tour. We learned about famous people from Brooklyn, history and buildings, movies made there, ate pizza there and saw many of the neighborhoods. It was a wonderful day, and I can see why the people of Brooklyn love it so much. It truly is a wonderful place and the tour was one of the highlights of our trip to New York. If you want to do something different than visiting the usual New York sites, go on this tour, and you will want to come back and revisit Brooklyn and explore it further. I promise.

This tour was recommended to me by a friend who had taken it last summer and it was blast. You learn so much about Brooklyn and get to eat great pizza along the way. One of the best features was the movie clips that show all the places in Brooklyn that I've seen in the movies for years. I highly recommend this tour for any and everyone!!!

my wife and i thought tony was absolutely marvellous. as he was brooklyn born and bred his enthusiasm and pride was evident in the way he spoke. the film clips were also great and what a difference in not having the usual pedestrian streotype guide taught from a book we loved our 5 hours and have no hesitation in recommending say hello to tony from his 2 jewish guests from friday

Much more than Pizza!

This tour is SO much more than eating pizza (as good as the pizza stops were! ) With a vry comfortable bus, a creative route, and the owner/tour guide who was born and raised in Brooklyn mywife and I learned all there was to know about Brooklyn: Its history, waves of immigration and how they changed the neighborhoods, people of note:politicians to underworld types to entertainment and sports notables. A creative addition was to screen areas as we drove thru them e.g. driving under the EL at the spot where the chase scene for "French Connection was filmed and showing the scene on dropdown units. The bus get-offs were well planned to walk parks, eat pizza, see Coney Island, etc. Tony couldn't be better mixing in depth history with personal anecdotes and a wonderful sense of humor and a focus on comfort and service. You will really enjoy this tour!
