Of course the pizza was great and a big hit with both the younger and older members of our group. What made the trip even more special was the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide who knew a phenomenal amount about Brooklyn. We all had a great time and learned a lot.

Small group tour was terrific. This tour is a must if you like pizza and want to see more of New York than Manhattan.

My husband and I and two young adult children really enjoyed the tour. Tony is very, very nice and a wonderful tour guide. The pizza was great at both of the stops and we all were very full. The tour was very interesting and the video clips and music added to the impact. I have already told my friends who often go to NYC about this tour. This tour is a hit!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Brooklyn Pizza Tour. It was fun, we saw alot, the pizza was great and the tour guide, Tony, made the tour extra special. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The music and clips from movies were a nice added touch. Our group was very small, so we were able to ask Tony a lot of questions and learned quite a bit about Brooklyn...what a great city!! Not only would I strongly recommend the tour, but I would definitely enjoy going on it again in the future.

Tony's tour was the best one we took while in NYC. We stopped at 2 great places for pizza and had PLENTY to eat! I personally liked the first place best. If you left hungry, it's your own fault!!! Tony was informative and funny....like the kid next door. Our group of 10 enjoyed every minute, and if Tony would have stopped talking for a moment.....we would have all been asleep from sooooo much pizza!!!! It was a pleasure. Our entire group from 84 years old down to 26 years old enjoyed it. Ray, the bus driver was excellent as well. We never once felt our life was in danger, unlike the cab situations. Another nice thing is that never once was a "tip" mentioned! You pay the price, you get the service and if you choose to tip...well then great, and if not....so be it! No begging, demanding or plaques stating it was expected. Best bang for your buck in NYC!!! We highly recommend this tour! Thanks again for a wonderful tour! Diane C.

Wonderful. Tony embodies Brooklyn.

I've taken tours all over the U.S. and in Paris, Rome, London, and Dublin. This tour bests all of them. The tour guide, Tony, obviously loves Brooklyn. He describes the history, the architecture, the neighborhoods, the movie locations. I especially enjoyed his personal anecdotes regarding neighborhood characters. The highlight was the Neopolitan pizza. If you are wondering about the age of our party, I am in my forties, my daughter is in her twenties, and my son is 12. We all loved this tour.

Great Fun!

Normally, we avoid tours, preferring to strike out on our own and not be tied down to someone else's schedule. Brooklyn, however, seemed to be daunting to visit on our own, so we took "A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour". Tony changed our view of tours. He was absolutely great fun and extremely knowledgeable. When the rain interferred with the stops on the tour, Tony was flexible and changed the schedule slightly, then went back to what we had to skip so we wouldn't miss anything. After visiting NY City for 5 days, I now realize that these tours are really a great idea. If Tony gave tours of the whole of New York City, I definitely would have signed up for each and every one. Take this tour...the bus is great (and has a bathroom!), the driver is great, and Tony is remarkable!

Not just pizza

I highly recommend this tour for tourists and Brooklynites alike. I attended with my father and uncle who were both raised in Brooklyn. I resided in Park Slope for several years as well. Between the three of us we thought we knew alot about Brooklyn. But the borough is so diverse and so tied to the history of New York City as a whole that we found out we had alot to learn. And Tony served up the knowledge (along with a flair toward entertainment) and the pizza, with great enthusiasm. He was informative, interesting and the prepared film and support materials were also well done. If you live in brooklyn and want to know more about your home, take this tour. If you are from out of town and think Brooklyn is an insignificant lower income appendage to Manhattan, think again and take this tour. At the end you will be full of truly excellent pizza and new found knowledge.

Since moving to Manhattan a few months ago we have been on many tours. A Slice of Brooklyn was our favorite! Tony was a great tour guide, both interesting, knowledgable, and fun. The movie clips about the areas we were visiting was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to others. Thanks Tony!

In many ways....not only was the pizza very good but the guide ,Tony was very informative in a way that made the time fly by, with laughs and fun spots to to enjoy for the four hours. Comfortable bus, my daughter and I had a fun time, we highly recommend it to all.
