Fantastic day!

This tour is excellent! Our tour guide was Paula and she was so professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to everyone's needs. The bus was really comfortable and the tour took in a lot of Brooklyn neighborhoods, two great pizza restaurants and Coney Island. The best thing was that the tour was not too long and it was well paced, so you didn't feel rushed and exhausted by the end of it. I highly recommend it. Vicki

Make sure you put this activity on top of your To-Do things in NYC! Our guide tour Paula was so friendly, informative and helpful in every way! No local person will be able to give you as much history and show you in person all the intricates of Brooklyn like A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour does! Oh, in addition, the pizza is top notch! Signed: Mike from San Diego.

Out of Date Movies
Mon, Dec 19, 11   11:00 AM Jennifer34 Female 30-39 Local Individual
I appreciate that the tour should include movies from the 70's however, it should be expanded to include more up to date movies and also make mention of current tv shows that are filmed in Brooklyn e.g. Gossip Girl and the Good Wife to name but a few. Video clips of movies were shown after we had passed by instead of before where anticipation could be built upon. There was no opportunity for the bus to stop at all the sites mentioned. People should have been given opportunity to take photos outside all the buildings related to the movies mentioned. Also why go to Coney Island in December when everything is shut with the tour guide pointing to closed move sites that nobody can see. First restaurant was excellent, second restaurant rubbish - pizza doughy and cold no choice of drinks. Tour guide had inadequate knowledge of movies and when asked questions about movies set in Brooklyn and not included in the tour could not answer.

Great Brooklyn Tour!!!

Paula was our tour guide. She was great - funny, full of enthusiasm, and entertaining. We got to bypass the lines at Grimaldi's and go right inside to sit down, be served, and eat our pizza, so that was a great bonus. It was fun going through the Brooklyn areas that were filmed in the movies, as Paula was explaining where this or that scene was filmed as she showed it on the monitor. I'm sure I will take this tour again and I also want to take their Christmas Lights (next year?) and the Cannoli tour.

Fantastic tour! Full of info and loved the food - hearing about the great time I had actually convinced my New York-born wife to finally cross the bridge and explore with me!

Brooklyn Pizza Tour fantastic!

Highly recommend this to anyone interested in seeing Brooklyn and being lead by Brooklyn native. The pizza that we had a long the way was outstanding, and even got to try some spumoni at one of the stops. Tony, our guide was enthusiastic, funny and a real pleasure to have as our host. We saw fantastic views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. And great fun sites in Brooklyn. My only complaint, some friend's of Tony were on the tour, and they were annoying with their know-it-all personalities. While it's no fault of the tour, I would recommend that in the future friends of the tour/guide are sort of reeled in and told to be seen and not heard. Overall, highly recommend this informative and entertaining tour.
