| I recently spent 9 days in New York with my family, including children ages 15 and 11. I am originally from the Bronx, but my family had never been to New York. I had never been to Brooklyn, either. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Tony is very engaging and has lots of good stories. He took us around to a lot of interesting sights and was very mellow about the fact that we went well over the anticipated tour duration. The pizza places were phenomenal. Two of us liked Grimaldi's better, while the other two liked Spumoni's better. Regardless, they were both excellent. It was a real treat for my kids that they had a chance to ride the Cyclone at Coney Island. I think this tour is a real bargain for the price and would recommend it without reservations. Way to go Tony! |

| We saw the article about the tour in the UK Times just by chance and decided that we would like to do someting a little different during our stay in manhattan and this looked interesting.
Tony was so passionate about brooklyn and this came through so strongly on the tour and his knowledge about the area was second to none. To be entertained and informed by a real brooklynite was both apleasure and an unforgetable experience.
We have been all over the world on different holidays and tours and this was the very best we have experienced and this was all down to Tony and of course the pizza !!
If anyone who reads this review fancies a tour that is off the normal track and to see a New York borough that has transformed itself in the past few years and continues to do so ----this is the tour for you.
I must mention the pizza, it was a dream and the best was the sicilian square pie that just melted in your mouth together with the 'spumoni' which was a brand new experience for us and much better than any ice cream we have ever tasted. I can just imagine Tony eating this as he grew up surrounded by people who had lived through a very different brooklyn and this was the thing that inspired him to tell thier story.
The world is changing and people like Tony have a link and legacy to the past which is priceless. Tony is priceless, the tour is worth double the money, you would be a fool not to take it.

| The tour was very entertaining and fun. Small group (20 people) allowed Tony to concentrate on every question and every participant. He seems to know everything there is to know about Brooklyn and its inhabitants. Pizzas were great. Although we have been several times in New York before, we have never went to Brooklyn (except of the area around Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights). The tour showed that we had missed a lot of interesting places and sights by concentrating on Manhattan only. During the tour short clips and music relating to the place just to be seen were played on a TV set in the bus. At the end a list of all film and music clips were distirbuted. It showed that Tony had spent a lot of time and enthusiasm in designing and developing the tour. If you spent more than 3 days in New York it is definitely worth doing the tour. |

| We had a great experience. The pizza was excellent! The sicillian pizza was the best I've ever had, by far. Tony was informative and had a lot of knowledge of Brooklyn. He put together movie and TV clips of scenes of the places we toured. The mini coach was clean and comfortable. Definetely a five star experience. |

| Toni knows his stuff and imparts it to you in an extremely engaging fashion. This is a great way to spend several hours with a history of pizza making in New York and many interesting facts about Brooklyn. Toni is a one man tourist information centre who's tour should be sponsored by the city.
You get good food and good entertainment. They say bad pizza is like bad sex - it is still pretty good! Imagine getting the best pizza!
One thing you won't do is "forget about it." In Brooklyn they say "you didn't see nothing you didn't hear nothing and you don't know nothing." After the tour you've seen loads, heard a lot of useful, interesting stuff and know a lot about Brooklyn. The ride on the Cyclone alone is worth the money (you Brits will understand once you've been on the tour).
Worth every penny. |

| Tony has put together an outstanding tour that was enjoyed by everyone in our family (including our two teenage girls and our 9 year old boy). Convenient meeting spot in Manhattan kicked things off and Tony's personality and knowledge are what makes the tour. The pizza is outstanding but the running commentary and video clips really make this tour worth it. Highly recommended. |

| Was it the incomparable scenery, Tony's funny and knowledgeable spiel or the delicious pizza? Or was it the lovely people I met on the tour? It's so difficult to pick out the best thing about the Slice of Brooklyn: it was a wonderful tour from start to finish.

| At the moment we met the group our guide, Tony, greeted us with open arms. It is truly amazing and a special gift one possess when you can faciliate 14 individuals who arrive as strangers and at the end of 4.5+ hours leave as friends. Tony made this happen.
He is very passionate about Brooklyn. He is very knowledgable about his home. He takes pride of his home. He loves to share his home.
The tour moves right along and 4.5 hours just pass on rather quickly.
He tells us about the history of Brooklyn, the bridges, the buildings, George Washington, foods, amusement, movies, entertainers and homes. We ate...ate...ate...ate. If you still wanted to eat, then you had an opportunity to eat a Nathans Original Hot Dog at Coney Island.
At the end of the tour he wished as all well as a group & individually. It was in a genuine way. The tour was educational, tasty & fun!
We have already recommended this tour to our family & friends and would recommend it to anyone else interested in a unique and fun tour. |

| This tour was the highlight of our visit to New York City. Tony, the tour guide, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and extremely enteraining. The pizza was terrific and the history and information provided about the landmarks and neighborhoods was incredible. The stop at Coney Island and the ride on the Cyclone roller coaster was just one of the numerous highlights. I strongly recommend this tour. |
