| fifty trips to NY (over forty years), and we have never been to Brooklyn. Tour should follow route "East River to Coney Island, and back again". One pizza on the way down, and one pizza on the way back. Should include one ride on the ferris wheel at turn-around time. Four hours is sufficient. Should stop half-hour each at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Event might end with a final walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to return to Manhattan, with obvious directions to anywhere from that end of the bridge. Non-walkers could continue in bus to starting place. Define the focus: Brooklyn or Pizza....probably pizza, since nobody would be interested in Brooklyn without the pizza gimmick. Will tell everybody we know about the tour, and encourage them to take it. Great idea of having the film clips...and the music |

You can't beat the value of this small group tour.

| Tony was great in providing an enjoyable tour without a dull moment. The stops at the pizza restaurants were the perfect compliment to the experiences of Brooklyn. And the fact that the pizza was built into the ticket price just made this an even better value. It really makes a difference to havea tour guide who is passionate about the town in which he was raised. Thanks again Tony for the great tour. |

| This was a wonderful tour. Tony is a great host/guide. His knowledge of Brooklyn and the city in general is substantial and he imparts to the group with a great deal of personality and humor. The pizza stops were fun and delicious and don't forget to get some spumoni at the second stop. Tony makes a point of talking personally with everyone in the group.
The bus is very comfrotable and his use of film clips during the tour truly enriches the experience. We had a member of our family whose ability to walk is limited and he made accomodations wherever necessary to make sure the tour was enjoyable and accessable for her. When we were on our way back to Manhatten after the tour he had the bus stop in Chinatown to let some people off before we got back to Union Square. This was a tour that our whole family really enjoyed. |

| I just don't know where to start! We were greeted by this warm. friendly man name Tony. Tony was our tour guide. Tony created an atmosphere like we were his friends in his house and were warmly introduced to other members participating in the tour. Instantly, we felt a sense of belonging! He was so sincere, kind, and really was out to show us what Brooklyn was all about. Being a native NYer. I was taken to sights that I never knew existed. Let alone seeing the sights, the history and information provided by Tony was so detailed and clearly presented. We saw video clips, listened to amazing music, listened to stories about the area.....it was great.
We were taken to many movie sets which took place on Brooklyn's ground. Seeing the sights in person as the movie clips were displayed on the color TV, I felt like I was in the movie.
Should we even begin to mention the pizza shops visited. I'll use only two words.. (1)Delish and (2)Fantastic.
As we walked the coney Island boardwalk, the group was having so much fun and we asked Tony if we can ride the famous Cyclone. As accomadating as he was, he even joined us! Most of the tour participated and a grad time was had by all!
I have told many friends about this tour which, I might add, is the best tour I have been on EVER!
If in NYC, this is a MUST DO! |

| Tony did a super job researching the best pizzarias and local sites of interest. Everything was handled smoothly, including the driving. Super driver!
The group size (12) was perfect for comraderie, like a cousins' club meeting on wheels. It seems as if like-minded individuals would be interested in this type of thing. Everyone was in the right mind set for this excursion.
Tony knew his history, and combined that with a love of film, food and music.
We saw video clips from films shot in Brooklyn. Most times we saw the exact view as seen in the story as we drove through the area. Great music selections, too.
The stopping spots, where we went walking on-site, were interesting and beautiful to see. (Anchorages of the bridges, good photo spots on historic sites, parks, etc.) We love old buildings and bridges, so this was "right up our alley".
The pizza stops gave us the best examples of Pizza Margherita and Pizza Siciliano that I've seen. (Rivals to my home catholic church variety and to that of Little Italy in Cleveland. Molto Bene!!)
The comfort of the group members was always top on the list. (We had a group member with a hip problem and Tony allowed plenty of rest-time to accomodate
passengers who needed a breather.) Everyone seemed at ease and comfortable.
The tour bus seemed to be brand-new and was roomy and cool. The Audio/Visual equipment worked well and could be seen and heard with no problems. Again, the driver was extraordinary. Safe and professional. Tony and he worked well together.
We understood that this was the "Maiden Voyage" for this tour. It went off without a hitch, including some nice surprises Tony planned for the trip home.(Shhh! We can't tell you about those!)
We would recommend this tour to any History/Pizza/Film/Music lover anywhere.
It dosen't matter if you aren't Italian, you WILL be after this tour.

| I had a wonderful time on The Slice of Brooklyn tour. The pizza was dee-lish-us! Paula, my tour guide was amazing. She was warm, funny, informative and very attentive to everyone. I loved all of the movie tie-ins along the tour. Whether it is your first visit to NYC or your fifth make sure you get out of Manhattan with a Slice of Brooklyn - fuggedabout Times Square!!! |

| After you have absorbed the glitter and lights of Manhattan discover the other New York through the eyes of a local resident in Brooklyn.
Exactly what an overseas visitor is looking for away from the obvious tourist attractions. The tour is built around a focus on two different types of pizza but has so much more.
Paula our guide was passionate, genuinely interested in her charges for the day and very informative.
Very well organised. |

| One of the take-aways I look for in a tour is to figure out the places I'd like to go back to on my own. And this tour definitely presented some great places, and not only the pizza places.
Our tour guide, Paula, was enthusiastic, and more importantly knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods we visited.
A pleasant tour and recommended. |
