| The reviews are all spot on the man is a legend and started our holiday off with a great tonic. Any one looking for a first rate introduction to part of New York in a small intimate group and a brillant leader should book this value for money trip.
This is a suggestion. My son says Grimadi's is the best for pizza he has ever had and perhaps a variation of pizza topping and extra pizza would have been even better. The second stop was a quite heavy pizza and our group struggled to eat it. However why not make the stop for only the wonderful spumoni ice cream parlor instead of both pizza and ice cream. If you get your fill of Grimaldi then the ice cream is simply a master stroke to compliment and going on to the cyclone at coney would not be such a fear to some who were so full of pizza

| I liked the tour very much. Tony was a really good tour guide and you could notice that he really loved his job and Brooklyn. The pizza in the two restaurants, we have visited, was very good, but we also visited different film locations and watched the movies parallel while visiting. That was really funny. (Unfortunately for Tony) our group was a bit slow and so we extended the tour for over one hour, but everybody in the group was happy about this. The tour was really well planned and I only can recommend it to everybody, who has a bit time in New York and who wants to see something different. You will have a great time . |

| We saw the article about the tour in the UK Times just by chance and decided that we would like to do someting a little different during our stay in manhattan and this looked interesting.
Tony was so passionate about brooklyn and this came through so strongly on the tour and his knowledge about the area was second to none. To be entertained and informed by a real brooklynite was both apleasure and an unforgetable experience.
We have been all over the world on different holidays and tours and this was the very best we have experienced and this was all down to Tony and of course the pizza !!
If anyone who reads this review fancies a tour that is off the normal track and to see a New York borough that has transformed itself in the past few years and continues to do so ----this is the tour for you.
I must mention the pizza, it was a dream and the best was the sicilian square pie that just melted in your mouth together with the 'spumoni' which was a brand new experience for us and much better than any ice cream we have ever tasted. I can just imagine Tony eating this as he grew up surrounded by people who had lived through a very different brooklyn and this was the thing that inspired him to tell thier story.
The world is changing and people like Tony have a link and legacy to the past which is priceless. Tony is priceless, the tour is worth double the money, you would be a fool not to take it.

| The tour was very entertaining and fun. Small group (20 people) allowed Tony to concentrate on every question and every participant. He seems to know everything there is to know about Brooklyn and its inhabitants. Pizzas were great. Although we have been several times in New York before, we have never went to Brooklyn (except of the area around Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights). The tour showed that we had missed a lot of interesting places and sights by concentrating on Manhattan only. During the tour short clips and music relating to the place just to be seen were played on a TV set in the bus. At the end a list of all film and music clips were distirbuted. It showed that Tony had spent a lot of time and enthusiasm in designing and developing the tour. If you spent more than 3 days in New York it is definitely worth doing the tour. |

| Toni knows his stuff and imparts it to you in an extremely engaging fashion. This is a great way to spend several hours with a history of pizza making in New York and many interesting facts about Brooklyn. Toni is a one man tourist information centre who's tour should be sponsored by the city.
You get good food and good entertainment. They say bad pizza is like bad sex - it is still pretty good! Imagine getting the best pizza!
One thing you won't do is "forget about it." In Brooklyn they say "you didn't see nothing you didn't hear nothing and you don't know nothing." After the tour you've seen loads, heard a lot of useful, interesting stuff and know a lot about Brooklyn. The ride on the Cyclone alone is worth the money (you Brits will understand once you've been on the tour).
Worth every penny. |

| Was it the incomparable scenery, Tony's funny and knowledgeable spiel or the delicious pizza? Or was it the lovely people I met on the tour? It's so difficult to pick out the best thing about the Slice of Brooklyn: it was a wonderful tour from start to finish.

| A very enjoyable day away from Manhattan to sample the best of another borough. Not only was the pizza excellent but so was the well-informed and laugh-out-loud funny performance by Tony keeping us entertained throughout. |

| Having visited all the accepted New York/Manhatten sites this was a refreshing insight into how real New Yorkers live, eat and play. Tony has such a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm about his own neighbourhood which includes the buildings, political history, residents (both famous and infamous) and places of fun.
We were lucky enough to have a couple on our coach who had left Coney Island 50 years ago and Tony made a detour to show their granddaughter the apartments where her grandmother grew up. It was really quite emotional for the whole coach which consisted of a mixture from the UK, USA and South America.
The pizzas were unlike any other we had eaten before and you must try the spumoni at L & B's.
Would recommend this trip to everyone.
Thanks to everyone on our coach for being such good company. |

| We originally read about the 'Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour' in the UK press, it sounded so good we scrapped our plans to go to Turkey and came to New York instead.
Tony Muia, is passionate about pizza, that's real, mouthwatering, original, as good as it gets Italian and Sicilian pizza pie and he knows where to find the best pizza in Brooklyn! The queues outside the restaurant by 11:30am proved him right - fantastic pizza.
But this tour is about so much more than pizza. Tony is equally passionate about Brooklyn and takes you on a tour which shows you the sights and sounds of Brooklyn, including some classic film locations and the soundtrack that goes with it.
A great day in Brooklyn.

| This is a must do tour.
Tony was an excellent host & guide. We really got to see what for most tourists is an undiscovered part of New York at ground level with a well structured mix of experiences.
For me, to get to Coney Island & Brighton Beach was amazing and made all the better by the way the tour ties in flim locations with actual on screen video footage whilst at those locations really brought it home.
And, to ride the Cyclone - Fantastic !!!
