| My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It was unlike other food tours because you actually got to sit down and enjoy the food like you were at lunch which was nice. You get 2 peices of pizza at two of Brooklyn's well known pizzerias. It was definitely plenty of food, but the tour mainly revolves around seeing Brooklyn and learning about the burrough.
You also get WONDERFUL views of the manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge as well as seeing Coney Island and just a ton of knowledge about Brooklyn. We really liked that when a part of the town was a scene in a movie - they would play the movie clip so you can see the movie, and realize you're right there at the same time!
I would definitely recommend this if you are interested in learning about Brooklyn and love pizza - but be aware that this is mainly about Brooklyn - and only about an hour of the tour revolves around eating and pizza! |

| The pizza was amazing. We learned a lot and saw some really cool places. I thought it might be a litle long but our guide made it really fun, we laughed all day long! |

| My family (adult children) all had a great day together enjoying both the pizza and the tour. Paula was a phenomenal guide. Although native New Yorkers, it was fun learning more interesting Brooklyn history and checking out the local movie locations.
Can't wait to sign up for the gangster tour. |

| The tour itself was very interesting. We had been staying in Brooklyn for a few days, but didn't get an idea of what it was really like until we went on the tour. The pizza was good...a little too filling (four slices of pizza in like two hours time!). The only complaint was the "Hawaii-5-0" type of music that they played on the whole way back to Manhattan...something more appropriate woulda been nice. Except for that , it was great tour! |

| A well organised blend of interesting information, mini-walking tours, linking places with film clips and good quality pizza. An excellent tour guide (Paula) who was not "over the top" and a quality bus driver. Overall, very good value. |

| Just came back from a whirlwind trip to New York City, including our first trip, via the Slice of Pizza Tour, to Brooklyn. I admit, I was a little skeptical, initially, about the price of this tour, but was convinced to give it a try after reading the multitudes of recommendations from other tripgoers, and watching the "Today Show" excerpt on the slice of pizza website.
I can now add my own opinion to the rest, that this tour is fabulous, and the pizza was spectacular as well. Our 9-year-old seemed to think so, too, and said this tour was her favorite part of our trip to New York City, believe it or not.
You get: your first introduction to Brooklyn (including Coney Island), some of the best pizza EVER (note: We WILL be going back to L&B Spumoni Garden next time around), and get taken to film locations all over Brooklyn, complete with the movie clips shown right on the bus video screens as you are driving around the sites. |

| Our tour guide Paula was excellent. She knew her history, was friendly and answered questions asked. If I would take friends or family on this tour I would only go if Paula was the tour guide. We enjoyed the pizza, my favorite was the L&B Spumoni pizza. All of us would vote that Paula be made the tour guide for this tour. We enjoyed seeing and learning about the things included.
We would certainly recommend this tour. Paula made it interesting and fun. |

| I've always wanted to see Brooklyn in greater detail, but I never desired driving though it myself. When I heard about this tour, I thought it would be perfect and it was. Maria, our tour guide, was full of information, and Danny, our driver, was so calm, cool, and collected on the roads that we forgot we were in a metropolitan area.. Whether you are interested in history, Italian-American culture, pop culture, or plain old sight-seeing, there was something for everyone. The stops at two very different pizza places kept everyone happy along the way. Plus, there were several stops along the way where we could all stretch our legs, snap some pictures, and take it all in. It was a well-balanced tour with the not too much of any one thing, but just enough of all the right ingredients (likewise for the pizza!) Thank you! |
