Brooklyn Ambassador
Mon, Oct 19  11:00 AM pegcarpenter Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Tony makes a great ambassador to his beloved Brooklyn. His attention to details and knowledge of his subject added so much to this tour. We learned so much of the history and background of Brooklyn and saw much more on this tour than we had expected. The movie sites, Coney Island, Brighton Beach....all places that we had heard and read about for years, were all included. Oh, and the pizza was great, too! You will not go wrong when you book this tour....it is worth every penny!

A slice of Brooklyn pizza tour was far more than i bargained for. Our tour guide "Tony" was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about his native, beloved hometown of Brooklyln. This tour gave me a glimpse of the "real" Brooklyn, sqaushing all of the preconceived notions i had based on movies and television. If you're in NYC, i highly recommend this tour! I found it to be an eye opening experience that will bring me back to Brooklyn on future visits to NYC.

In a nutshell - the tour was organized, Tony knowledgable, informative, and well spoken, and the food was delicious. I felt it was on par with Foods of NY Tours.

a pleasant way to spend a wet Sunday afternoon

Paula introduced us to Brooklyn, as if it were an old friend. She obviously loves the place, and its contagious. The pizza was- OK, - not $ 75 worth, but the rest of the tour made up for it. It would cost that much in cab fares to get to Coney Island and Brighton Beach, and the commentary of each neighbourhood was priceless.

This was a perfect activity for a Sunday Afternoon. The Tour guide was knowledgable and the pizza was great. Only 2 Pizza stops on the trip, I was thinking there would have been a couple more.

Paula was so friendly. From the moment we met her I knew it was going to be a good day. She shared so much knowledge and had a great personality. The whole day was so well organised, bus was immaculant and clean and nothing was a problem. Had plenty of time at the 2 restaurants and more than enough to eat. A great way to seel Brooklyn and what better way to do it than eating pizza in a friendly enviroment. will be reccomending this tour to all of my friends so worth the money jump on board you will not be dissapointed.

This tour was a great way to experience Brooklyn and learn many "Did you know facts" about this great borough of New York City. If you're short on time in your visit to NYC, this tour is great for visiting Brooklyn and experiencing its tasty pizza!! Paula, our tour guide was great! She was enthusiastic and made the tour worth while!!!

This tour should definitely be on your top 10 things to do in New York. After spending a week in the city we were glad to leave all the hard work to someone else. To sit back and enjoy the sights and hear all the local info and history was really enjoyable. Paula, our tour leader was fantastic! (Tony give her a raise!!) This is not just about pizza (which was the best we had eaten), you get to see the real Brookylyn all the little back streets, the schools, the appartment blocks, parks and the mansions. And of course the Brooklyn Bridge and Coney Island. The day we went it was freezing cold but that didn't stop us from getting out of the bus and having a look around. My only complaint was that the day went too quickly. Would love to come back and do another tour. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

I enthusiastically recommend the Slice of Pizza Tour. We were three local tourists and one international tourist. The tour provided a view of New York and its history that none of us had known or seen before. The guide was very entertaining, amusing us while explaining the background on the attractions. We leaned some about pizza making and sampled a specimen that was very tasty and new to us.
