Paula's a panic, and a real expert on both Brooklyn and pizza. She kept us smiling and laughing throughout, but we also learned a lot. 4 1/2 hours went by quickly, too quickly. In heaven, I'm on the Brooklyn pizza tour again and again, and our final stop each time is the $14 million house, where Paula's sugar daddy is dressed in an apron and serving us Fernet Branca and cannolis.

Best Tour Ever

If your looking for a true tour, not one desprately seeking to impress for the tourists dollar, this is it. A tour of Brooklyn (a place I had not before been too) with all the history, the glamour the icons, the movies and best of all, the best Pizza you could imagine. The tour guide (Paula) was down to earth, fun, knowledgeable and real (and from Brooklyn). Paula indeed made this tour the best ever. I saw this tyour on a travel special and when it came time for a well earned holiday, I planned my holiday to the other side of the world around this tour, and I was not dissapointed. We took children (6 & 9) and they loved it. They laughed and enjoyed it all the way, and it was interesting to keep them occupied throughout (and kids LOVE Pizza) This truly is a DON'T MISS tour if you are in NYC for any period of time. It shows Brooklyn, often forgotten by the tourist) in a whole new light. It takes you to two of the finest Pizzeria's you will ever go to to sample Pizza as it should be. Our thanks go to the operator and especially Paula and the driver Mario for making this day a highlight of our NYC visit. Don't worry about the weather, it's an all weather tour. It rained on our day and it made it that boit more personal. Going to NYC - Do not miss "a slice of Brooklyn". If you do miss it, it's your loss...

Tour bus was new, clean & comfortable. Tony, the guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. Both types of pizza were great, but each person on the tour had their favorite.

Awesome Brooklyn Pizza Tour

We really enjoyed the pizza tour and history of Brooklyn. Tony was a great guide - has perfect personality for what he does. My hope is that the tours never get so large that Tony "farms out" the tour duties, because HE is the one that makes it so successful!

I loved this tour. I've wanted to see what Brooklyn was like and only visited Coney Island. The music, film clips and tour that Tony Muir provided was wonderful. I've already recommended this tour to my friends. If there is a tour for the other half of Brooklyn, I'm in!

What a great way to spend part of an afternoon! This is everything a tour should be: organized, entertaining, fact filled AND great eating. The tour covers a lot of Brooklyn territory, literally and figuratively. As hard as it may seem when you start on that Grimaldi's pizza, be sure to save plenty of room for the second stop. "A Slice of Pizza" was one of the highlights of my week in NYC.

We love Tony

I had taken this tour 3 years ago -- one of Tony's very first times out. Since then I've recommended it to many friends who were visiting New York and they were all equally enthusiastic. It's always a delight to have a guide who so obviously loves his subject and knows his stuff. We especially loved hearing about the various "connected" inhabitants of Brooklyn past and present. Tying in the scenes from movies is also very effective and interesting. Oh yes, we also loved the pizza and ice cream (yum). We're definitely looking forward to going again. Renee Rose

Our 11 and 15 year old grandsons rated the 'A Slice of Pizza Tour of Brooklyn' as #1 and our weekend included a play, skating in Central Park and Madam Toussads so that is quite a recommendation!! The tour itinerary is very diverse, the pizza was great and Paula did a wonderful job of linking everything together for us.
